Get a wireless switch and program the remote to the home link buttons. I did this on my ‘16 for the lightbar I had. Worked great and no extra switches floating around in the cab.
I had a woman back into my truck, the bodyshop manager called me and said " I noticed you had the plate holes in your bumper plugged, want us to weld em up and paint, we have to paint the bumper anyway " well yes sir I do!!
So no plate holes or plugs for me, just smooth bumper
Nice rig, I really gotta get the rear lowering springs for mine, just have to find them that I can get to.
Im more blown away by the outside post lift you were using, slick!! sadly something like that outside wouldn't last 2 years around here with our climate.
I dropped my wheel well liners, removed both tail lights and reached in between the outer bedside and the inner box panels. Im not saying there was tons of room or it was super easy to do, but it is doable. I may have even created a few new yoga poses too.
It does take 2 people to do this...
Well got it back from the dealer, they couldn’t replicate the noise as well as having no visible leaks when sprayed with soapy water.
The tech said it must’ve been a freak moment that I happened to catch it when the back cab vents had some ice build up and were frozen just enough to not open...
My truck has the rear passenger door / window open noise in it and I haven't been able to figure out where its coming from but may have found either some of the cause or all of it.
Yesterday while I was brushing the snow off my truck, I noticed the sound of air moving ( truck was remote started...
I was going to get a set of these, but had a car back into he front corner of my truck. I had made some plugs from carriage bolts and wrapped the heads in white pearl vinyl. Body shop called me and asked if I wanted them to weld the holes up while they were working on the bumper anyway . So...
Might be a stupid question, but does the lower grill light output get diminished some by shining through the grill?
Thinking of doing this to mine, but my trucks lower grill is solid, id have to get a " mesh " one. Debating wether or not its worth doing if it doesn't give that much more light...
My '16 with 3.92 would shift into 8th around 70kph my '19 with 3.21 shifts into 8th around 85-90 kph so having the 3.21 is like having an overdrive gear on top of the 3.92's. while the 3.21 is still in 7th around 80kph the rpms are roughly where my 16 was with the 3.92 in 8th.
i use petroleum jelly on my garden hose stuff too. Around here combatting corrosion is a way of life. Even the air has enough salt in it to rust / corrode anything. Gotta love the North Atlantic and being about a mile and a half from the ocean
Winter gas is been here for almost a month now. Mileage has dropped from 13 litres per 100 to 16-17 Over the last two tanks. Add to that colder weather and more remote starts and well you get the idea
