    Mopar LED Bed Lights Install?

No programing is needed. No harnesses needed. No switch is needed. You can use any 12v led light, not just mopar. All you need to do is identify the wire that supplies power to the cargo light. It is accessed through a removable panel in the left rear floor. It's in a large bundle of wires...

Opening Rambox rubs against gasket of tonneau cover

There are many rubber and plastic protective treatments. One is 303.

    Bed light harness question

No harnesses needed. All you need to do is identify the wire that supplies power to the cargo light. It is accessed through a removable panel in the left rear floor. It's in a large bundle of wires running front to back. Don't recall the color. Some say its white with tan tracer. You can...

Minor Accident - Diminished Value Claim Thoughts

Don't care about semantics. I have a true life experience with diminished value where another driver was clearly at fault, hitting my 2 year old 1500. His company, Geico fought me tooth and nail, even though the laws in my state allow for diminished value awards. I felt that Geico acted...

    Front Parking Sensors?

My mopar sensors were around $200 each. Ouch

Opening Rambox rubs against gasket of tonneau cover

That gasket is mandatory on most if not all covers. Without it, you'll have leaks. Looks like the mfg did not treat it well for uv resistance, and it is deteriorating early.

Rear brakes at 99,000km (62,000 miles)

I replaced my rear brakes after 80k road miles. Don't know about seized pins or not, but I was metal on metal at that point. Front brakes still good.

    Ram sales down

The poster who suggested that most buyers are waiting for Hurricane motors is way off. Talk to any seasoned Ram salesman and he'll tell you that 8 of 10 buyers don't want a Hurricane, just yet anyway. Agree that interest rates are hurting sales big time. Don't see any more Ram "we have...

    RAM Dis-incentives

Op just wanted to know the real truth on incentives. Mark Dodge will be truthful. You don't have to buy there. For most other stealerships, I'd barely trust one word they say. If someone wants to buy from Mark and lives far away, No problem. A carrier will bring it. I saved more than...

    RAM Dis-incentives

The only truth telling, straight shooting dealer I found anywhere was Anthony at Mark Dodge. He is a subject matter expert and will tell it straight. Among 4 other dealers I spoke to, they were all confused. Don't know if any try to pocket some rebates for themselves. Anthony will likely...

Aftermarket Bed LEDs, where to connect in 5th gen?

noticed that the tailgate led light sometimes comes on with the cargo light but not always. Anyone know if it's the same circuit?

Aftermarket Bed LEDs, where to connect in 5th gen?

There are many posts on this topic, but most apply to factory mopar lights and using a factory harnesses. There's no bed light prewiring in my 24 Laramie. Hoping, but don't know if wiring is same for all 5th gens with same trim level, esp those with tailgate lights, but no bed lights. Seems...

Beware: 2024 Laramie with Intermittent Blind Spot Monitor

I agree with DEGs post. It's perfectly logical. I happen to have knowledge of several fatal auto accidents and in most every case the driver is sued and in most cases the manufacturer. It's always for millions. I've not touched the question of who wins those suits. I don't think it's asking...

    Ram bed step issues

Driver owns one 24 Ram. Not a dealer of anything. Just trying to help other fellow owners avoid the mistake described above by the Ram parts manager!

    Ram bed step issues

Rick made excellent points, except there's no roll of the dice in this case. We're talking about a $100 low tech mechanical, black painted part. Far from a $500,000 Lamborghini, etc. The reason there's no roll of the dice is if you buy on Amazon, you can inspect it, even install it, and...

    Ram bed step issues

Is there some rule which says the Chinese maker of the mopar steps can not sell the same item to 100 US parts companies without the mopar logo? The fact that an Amazon seller offers a Ram bed step for $100, does not prove or disprove it is the identical mopar part. It is possible that any...

Beware: 2024 Laramie with Intermittent Blind Spot Monitor

Op here. It doesn't matter to me if unconnect v46 has caused this or something else. Just want to find the cause. It's just a little suspicious that uconnect v34 (my just updated version before v46) completely dropped my rear camera, some brake function and something else. I think the likely...

Beware: 2024 Laramie with Intermittent Blind Spot Monitor

An intermittent BSM could be the worst of all worlds. A safety feature many rely on, but twice in the last few days, my BSM has failed to light up with another vehicle right at my quarter panel. Other times it works properly. No mods, electrical, electronic, or mirror. Vehicle is clean...

    Ram bed step issues

As mentioned, most of the units I've seen on ebay and Amazon are the identical part offered by Mopar, and that's been confirmed side by side comparison and by by Ram parts counter personnel . Anyone unsure can compare welds and paint on both, side by side. If your unit has extremely smooth...
