It might as well be 20,000 on max tow... That payload is your limitation...and you must have every bell and whistle there is if you have a 4X2 with that payload. AND so, if you decide to tow, you likely are in the range of a 25 foot travel trailer without a slide and ONE group 24 battery and ONE...
Owww on that Rambox. Mine, so far are perfect. Was it like that at first and only developed later? Or was it from the gitgo? I just washed mine and the matte black trim piece got a rock hit and it is white plastic underneath.
I used to average just below 13 mpg on my 2015 Outdoorsman mixed driving with the 3.92. After about 1500 miles and break in, I am now getting 15.??? mpg avg same routes with the new 3.21 so I'm figuring roughly a 20% improvement overall. And that makes a difference on gas like at least 10+ bucks...
"Curious how a limited slip would be better on road...as in what scenario?" I had a 13 quad cab WITHOUT limited slip. The mail boxes at the front of our subdivision on a slight slope gets polished in the winter and is very slick. My 2015 Outdoorsman had the limited slip. The 2013 would just...
Washed my new Built to serve and right underneath the front of the hood is a black matte black trim piece across the front. A rock must have hit it and when I sprayed it with the washer, it took the paint off where the rock hit. It is not a good look as the plastic underneath is whitish... I...
I didn't realize that the TPMS was being taken off some of them. I agree with you. Towing a trailer, that is a major plus for me. Like you, I already have an aftermarket rear trailer camera monitor hanging off the window and don't want an after market tpms to add to it. The aftermarket camera...
I'm thinking work related are going for Tradesman, with the exception of maybe the independent builder who likely doesn't care anyway about a multi-function tailgate but some do like the Ramboxes... You can get pretty tricked out Bighorns. I'm thinking they took em off the Bighorn to push people...
Just noticed that the multi-function tailgate and Ramboxes have been eliminated from the Big Horn trim level. Glad I got a 2021 Built to serve with it. I wonder if it will make it worth more.
And aside, but the best mileage I ever got relatively consistently in my 2015 Outdoorsman with a 3.92 was towing... Yep, I had an 8 foot pop up camper at around 1800 to 1900 lbs. I saw 20 mpg a few times and consistently 17/19 mpg...while regular driving never topped 15 mpg. So, if you want to...
I have a 3.21 rear end, crew cab and am between 15 and 16 mixed driving. Compared to my old 2015 Outdoorsman Crew with 3.92, I am ecstatic but still not at the rated mileage. The 2015 seldom saw 13 mpg... I'll take the roughly 20% increase in daily in MPG... Towing, so far, about a wash...
I'm not surprised... If you search on autotrader or cargurus, you will get pages of ones to view...and then, for example, Cargurus doesn't filter out the quad cabs vs Crew Cabs... You will find Quads on the pages about 3 to 1 vs the Crews...meaning they must be harder to move...
Yes, I'm finding the Billet Silver just sort of sucks up light dirt and rain spots and they are hardly noticable as you walk up in a parking lot. I'm very pleased with it, surprisingly... On the granite crystal, you don't buy em dirty so when you see em at a dealer, they are really bad ***...
I was ambivalent about the color but after a few weeks it is great, really subtly good looking...looks really good with the blacked out "look." The wife loves it got down really close, has a thing for metallic and thinks it matches the trailer well... AND it doesn't show dirt/rain badly at all...
