I keep thinking Ram would have loved to add in the additional torque like this. Something stayed their hand. Could be the battery is just too small, longevity, or a host of other things.
Does anybody know the weights of the P tires VS the LT ones? I'm curious how much more my Rebel weighs due to the off road tires over a non off road setup.
I got it at realtruck.com. Normally $100, I got 20% off. Chat or call them for best pricing. You will need to cut it, but it's simple. Tip: The width of the mat is exactly the length of the bed. A few relief cuts and you get what you see above.
I plan to use the excess in the ramboxes and...
Here's the thing though, *somehow* the eTorque version of the truck was rated 2 Mpg higher than non. It's been rumored that somehow eTorque helps the MDS stay in longer but I don't think I've ever seen that officially stated. Which makes me wonder FCA pulled off the extra 2 MPG.
Drive both eTorque and non back-to-back on the same loop. Reset the trip meter between both and see if you see a difference in MPG. ETorque at it's core is supposed to be a gas saver, but the jury is still out on that, so do your own test and see what you find. At the retail price, it may be...
Same here. I went from about 13.5 on around town short trips to 14.6. I as well have yet to verify via hand Calc but at my first fill up my computer matched within 0.1 MPG.
They definitely reduced the amount of braking when coming to a stop. I noticed immediately that I actually had to push the brake down now. I still had the crosshatching on the rotors at 400 miles when they did my update!
The first thing Chrysler does when you have an issue is tell you to "go to the dealer." Yet when the dealer screws up, where is Chrysler? Why should you have to pay legal fees against a dealer to get resolution? Chrysler needs to grab the dealer by the balls, force them to transfer the truck...
Of all the systems on this truck, I would have thought the climate control would be one of the easier ones to fix. Can you provide any additional details of why they are having such a hard time?
I did my first fill up today. 50/50 city/highway and hand calculated got 15.1 MPG. The computer said 15 MPG, dead-nuts accurate as far as I'm concerned.
Spot on.
Separate observation - why is there no instantaneous number and just a graph? My wife's Durango has both. Easier to process a number than a graph.
Any time up that mountain that's faster than 8:00 by definition means they exceeded their 60 MPH limit at some point. Or, it could be speedo calibration issues. Theoretically there should never be a time under 8:00, ever. So there is definitely some margin for error. It's an interesting test...
Me neither. My radio is always on so I don't notice any exhaust sound changes. MDS is imperceptible to me thus far. I'm light on the pedal though, so perhaps that is why.
Turn off the light if it's annoying. This function shouldn't require user input to change if it's already within operating parameters. There must be some design to the system that requires it to function this way, and I doubt it's the Eco light display on the dashboard.
Same behavior I've experienced. I'll look down and see no Eco light, and then back off the throttle and reapply and it'll pop on. Very odd, and honestly very annoying.
They put on a cover that you never requested? Why on earth would they do that?
I may be entering into conspiracy territory here, but let's look at some facts:
1. The truck you saw has a cover, and there is no rational reason why any dealer would just put one on, at their expense...
