My guess is they implemented a fix on the production line before the second truck was built, letting it ship so quickly. The first truck is likely in a lot full of other trucks, needing whatever that "fix" is...
Stellantis tracking updates suck compared to previous years with FCA and Ram.
That's the million dollar question that no one knows the rhyme or reason why...
The tracker is incorrect. It's either done being built or it was never started (or it's at the body vendor, etc).
Once a vehicle starts production, there isn't a spot for them to "sit" on the line. Start to finish at the plant is hours/a day, not weeks...
My '19 Ram 1500 I ordered in June of 2018 had a quicker order to build to delivery time than that of your Mustang. Granted, it didn't get put on a train, but still. Stellantis is a clusterF LOL.
True, but who's letting their battery get depleted? I put the battery tender on mine about once a week (if I haven't driven it) and it goes from red to solid green in 24-36 hours.
The truck is largely unchanged from when it was introduced in 2018 as a '19 MY, it's a 5th gen. Maybe a 5.5 gen, due to the mild refresh and new engine...
I've ordered both Ford and Ram, they both let you lock in incentives when you ordered. You could choose either incentives when you ordered or what was available when you took delivery.
Dealers used to be able to track trucks in transit, not sure if they can currently...
That said, your truck will get loaded on a train and head towards Mark Dodge. It'll get offloaded and sit in a rail yard until they have a truck load full, headed near Mark Dodge.
All that takes time...
