What I did when it came to the drain plug was grabbed an old 3/8 10mm hex socket and cut (grinder) the socket portion off. Leaving just the hex.. then using a wrench to loosen it.
Thats a bummer and probably one reason you never hear anybody saying they went with the B&M pan > PPE but somebody had to try it out so we thank you.
PPE pan ftw, tried and true

Probably referring to the RF module that’s located behind the seat on the back wall. Service advisors don’t exactly work on cars so it’s easy to misinterpret.

No, theres nothing wrong with it, I’ve replaced it 2x since new simply because Ive swapped to a AJT Design case 2x and did it while It was apart.
But I also keep a spare battery inside the glovebox.

Better off sticking with the ZF lifeguard or Mopar 8/9 Spd fluid (amazon or ebay) You won’t get all the existing fluid out with a pan/filter swap and last thing you wanna do is mix a fluid that isn’t compatible w/ the factory fluid. ZF/Mopar fluid has that green tint to it.
Edit: better make...
I wouldn’t want to do any lift that requires cutting of the frame which IIRC don’t most 6” lift on our platform require. Then it being a limited… nope nope which tells me this is more for looks versus actually functionality since you bought that level of trim. I would stick with a small level/...

Don’t forgot the Mopar Limited slip addictive as well it is has a LSD. The majority of gear oil already contains some addictive but it’s usually not enough.

That you have done there either before or after (whatever either Jimmy or Cbty recommends)
Service writers aren’t always the most knowledgeable when it comes to these type of things and miscommunication is very easy, talk to the tech doing the work directly.

At what point in time do you just take your truck and parts home and do or finish the install yourself? Seems like the dealer service department you’re using is inadequate in this situation. You’re getting enough information here including from a tech that you should have enough confidence to...
Once they replace the 3rd brake light.. Home depot or Lowes get a strip of marine grade rubber and remove that stupid foam gasket they’re probably still using that will eventually hold water and never worry about it again or just do that to your original one and keep the new one on the shelf...

Word of advice, I would go ahead and order some better replacements bolts. I don’t know if it was just a manufacture issue or a supply issue but I received two different brand of bolts with my BD order. Both 8.8 rated bolts but different markings didn’t noticed till after I went through the...
For a truck with only 25k miles on it.. that looks horrible which tells me even living in the salt state the owner did next to nothing to keep it at bay or it’s a company work truck so no fcuks given. A run through the car wash once a week to wash the salt away would have done wonders.
