5th wheels are generally safer in that they are more forgiving on the setup and with a newbie driver, and with the pivot pin over the rear axle are not as susceptible to outside forces (wind) as a bumper pull. That is physics and a fact. Not opinion. So yea.....a fully loaded 5th is safer...
Although I agree to an extent that guy is super cautious and wouldn't tow anything heavier than a ~5k TT with a 1500. I've seen some TT's that he recommends 3/4 or 1 tons but are definitely 1500 territory (at least from a manufacturer spec standpoint). Its easy to say since he drives a F450...
My ECM / PCM was sent out to HP Tuners for unlock. Took a few days for them to process and return. Not an issue if you have a 2nd vehicle. However, I am having an issue in that the ECM locks up every 30 or 40 minutes (gives a NO BUS error) which shuts the truck down on the highway (motor...
still need a tune with turbo. if anything turbos are more complicated to install in my opinion, and then there is turbo lag, difficult to tune properly as a daily driver, etc.
been trying to convince many the lie o meter is not right. some closer than others but it's just a gauge or guess at what mpg you are getting. helps to learn driving style not a accurate number. hand calc is the only way.
that's probably installed? yea....costs money to go fast(er). blowers are more involved than you think as least if done right. most blower packages will cost you 13k+ installed. good luck finding one for a 2019 too. :)
before I modded I ran 87 and 89. truck ran ok. put a few tanks of 93 in because I had some motor mods requiring the tank to be 93 and after 2 or 3 tanks noticed how much stronger the engine was. not sure on mileage but I bet the ECM pulled timing because of knock which explains more HP TQ...
I wouldn't bother with just headers unless you unlock and tune it for the mods done. no box tune will work well. best advice is to seak out a tuner. you can turn the wrenches but tuning requires experience and every engine is different along with driving style. it's worth the money.

I agree, but OP isn't towing it daily (aka work truck) so apples and oranges? Also, if you upgrade trucks every 3 or 4 years inside warranty.....what is your goal then if the increased wear is outside your ownership envelope?
I think the 6.4 would work harder as you have more weight to move (guessing 1200 lbs heavier??) with what......15 more HP and 30 ft-lbs of torque? That is not much to compensate the extra weight. Torque curve is probably different but not by much.
There is a video that shows acceleration...
If you are towing within your limits, and it sounds like you are, why try to repair something that isn't broke yet, or will ever break in the time you own the truck?
