You aren't going to get away from this with any new vehicle. All manufacturers are monitoring telematics to some extent on new cars. You can opt out of receiving the reports, but Stellantis will always be getting information on your vehicle.
It's likely the plastic gear. There is one company I know of that makes metal gears for the RAM folding mirrors, but they haven't finished their development for the 5th gens yet.

That too... I'm just pointing out the shop doesn't want to spend any more time to make it right, even if the material is wrong. The only solution here with a reasonable timeframe is a chargeback.
The shop isn't fighting because of the material, it's the labor of removing and cleaning the old material off (not to mention install new film) that's going to cost them. The cost of the materials is insignificant here no matter the grade.
I would complain to Borla, mine didn't fit perfectly either and they reimbursed me the cost of having an exhaust shop fix it. Too damn expensive to have an annoyance like that.
Oof, man I dunno. Without the LSD it's not what I was thinking. I would still jack the rear up and spin both wheels (one at a time) by hand to see if it makes any noise, just to rule the diff out.
There is nothing inherently "wrong" with pushrods. OHC engines have their own issues, not to mention pushrod engines tend to be physically smaller (and in many cases lighter) for a given displacement.
