Beautiful truck, love that blue.
My ‘19 Longhorn has been a great truck with a few quirks.
25k - rear window replacement
26k - battery replaced
36k - A/C TSB done
50k - driver side sunvisor broke
55k - front axle 4wd actuator
61k - LED DRL failure
72k - battery replaced again
Cut and dry, there is no backstory. I noticed my DRL lights were out one day, took it in to the dealer who entered the part into system which gave them a rejection notice.
I opened a case with @RamCares and the case manager called me yesterday to say they won’t cover it and even went as far to...
Not just a single dealership employee. I opened a case with @RamCares and Ram/Mopar denied me too.
I may as well jump in here as i’m likely the one OP is referring to
That’s incorrect, they are different.
The standard tow package come with ZF load-leveling shocks and a 3,900 lbs rear GAWR.
The SRT and Tow-N-Go towing package come with Bilstein active damping shocks and 3,940 lbs rear GAWR
It’s worth noting that the SRT’s 3.70 axles don’t even make a...
Suspension plays a part too in the tow rating bump. The upgraded shocks it’s RAWR gets a slight increase to 3,940 lbs
Either way, they both get the same 1,200 lbs payload capacity
The air suspension only reduces overall payload by 34 lbs and is a load-leveling system. It is more robust than aftermarket airbags.
Travel trailers do not follow the typical 10% tongue weight rule, they need more.
I found out I have this issue when my 4WD wouldn’t engage during a snow/ice storm.
Dealer diagnosed a bad transfer case actuator, I take it back in 2 weeks for replacement.
52k miles with ~20k towing.
1) rear window replaced @ 25k
2) new battery @ 26k
3) A/C TSB @ 36k
4) driver sun visor broke @ 50k
I also have the weird grinding at low speeds turning right. I never had time to get the TSB done before I got new tires so now that issue is gone for now
Misc random...
It could, yes. Ultimately it comes down to options not trim level.
The real weight is added in eTorque, Pano, 33g tank, RamBoxes, Multi-function tailgate, Off-Road package, 4x4, etc.
