No reason to swap it unless it is leaking. The aluminum ones leak too, so many lube shops over tighten the filter cap, the gaskets can start to leak. Most of the plastic cooler/filter housing leaks are from the gasket/seals.

Sounds good, my next 10 days i will be traveling with spotty service at best.

All the wires are present in the connector. IdK about that dealer you are working with. I would have a serious talk with the advisor, tech, shop foreman(if they have one)and manager. You shouldn't have had to do this.

If you dont have an issue they won't just repair it because you want it done. Might be quicker to get a transmission than a valve body, call Ram cares and hope they can help.

Yes, you would need to unplug it. The red tab slides and then the lever unlatches the connector

They are full of ****. The module would still proxy align without the wires. The original will align ans communicate. I attached a picture of the connector and what wires need to be added. Unplug that connector and check. That is a picture @Jimmy07 provided in a different post.

The wiring is there, they can update the sales code(they say they did). The flashing odometer, means they didn't perform a proxy alignment(this is where the vehicle learns a new module). If you can unplug that module behind the seat and take a picture of the connector, so we can see the female...

Tell that dealer to have a tech unhook the module and look at the wiring, it's all there. You do not need to remove the seat to get to the module connector.

There isn't a way for a dealer employee to delete/modify trips.

Charging system is working as intended. Alignment question, are you taking it to the dealer you purchased it from? The reason I ask, alignments are not paid by warranty in the first 500 miles, unless caught on the pdi. If this is the selling dealer, they can eat the cost because they missed it...

Perform caster sweep after adjusting caster and camber, set toe and perform sas calibration. Road test, done.

It's not BS if it is true, the reason warranty won't pay is because it should have been caught on the PDI. Take it back to your selling dealer. Not all are out to give you a prostate hammering.

Possible your park/neutral override lever on the side of the transmission is being held by ice/debris.
