35x12.50R20 Ridge Grapplers. Why buying F rated 12ply?

Oh...so sorry. Didn't know that you were an expert and also not open to others input. With a whopping 8 messages, you may want too be a bit more tolerant of others opinions. My "experience" comes in a different format that you clearly don't like or agree with. As I stated, I read more reviews...

Because I can…am I not allowed to voice my opinion and share my thoughts as you have???

35x12.50R20 Ridge Grapplers. Why buying F rated 12ply?

Interesting in that my Michelin Defender LTX M/S are awesome. I decided to go for safety over looks. The Michelin's are a top rated tire with excellent reviews from several different sources. It's interesting that you stated they were the worst tire you've ever owned. Several members have these...

35x12.50R20 Ridge Grapplers. Why buying F rated 12ply?

I have read enough to know they are not for me. If I had spent $1400 - $1800 on a set for my truck and fishtailed just once, I would have been pissed as you can't take them back. 1st hand experience? No. Enough review to make me rethink my decision...Yes!

I agree that there are far better options out there.

35x12.50R20 Ridge Grapplers. Why buying F rated 12ply?

I read a ton of reviews when researching the tires and most all folks said they handled poorly in heavy rain (like we get here in FL) and that you need to be prepared for fishtailing too. I also called Nitto and spoke to their tech support. I was told something very similar. As long as you are...

35x12.50R20 Ridge Grapplers. Why buying F rated 12ply?

I 100% agree. However, I passed on them because they are HORRIBLE on wet roads I don't off road much anyway. Having good wet traction on city roads and highways was FAR more important to me than looks. Safety should always be your #1 priority and not how good something looks on a truck. Just my...

    Rays Gram Lights 57DR-X

Looks good. But, I would have gone with a larger tire to fill the wheel well more and give it a better look.

    Best Dash Cam

I totally agree. Each dash cam manufacturer will handle the files on the SD card differently, but they shouldn't differ too much from your experience above. Most all dash cams also install their OS onto the SD card at each reformat as well as when performing a software update to the camera.

    Best Dash Cam

You still don't get it...but I have read further down this thread and see that you're still arguing with people. There are several SD cards specifically made for high speed read/write devices like dash cams and cameras. In order to maintain the SD cards integrity, they should be formatted...

    Best Dash Cam

I bought my brother a Vantrue N2 since he drives for Lyft. It was the only one, at the time, that had a camera facing the road and another recording the occupants in his car. I was very impressed by it and he's been using it now for over 2 years without issue...

Very similar to the Blackvue. PM me and we can discuss a few options to run the cable to the rear.

And you format it every month...correct? f not, you should start doing it monthly as I stated above. I use these for all of the dash cams I install and never an issue. Typically, you can get them for around $35...

    Best Dash Cam

YES...every month. Based on the intense loop writing to the SD card by dash cams, most all dash cam manufacturers ask that you reformat your card monthly. Contrary to what you may believe you know, for dash cams, and other heavy data writing devices, a monthly format should be done and it will...

    Best Dash Cam

Awesome to hear! You should always reformat your card once a month, regardless of dash cam make or model, to extend the life of the card. I have cards going on 3+ years with no issue if you take care of them. Yes, Blackvue does store parameters on the card. Happy to help!
