I think the alert pressure may be adjustable. I don't know why your pressure is that high. My truck calls for 36 PSI all 4 corners. Do you have some strange tires, with a Rebel, that take different pressures. I've only seen that on HD trucks.

It may be something the dealer put on the vehicle, to track in case of theft from them. I don't think it's anything you should pay for, if you didn't want it. Did you order, or buy off the lot? If you bought off the lot, and it was listed, before you bought, you should have asked them.
