Any links to the videos on YouTube you can post? The only thing I could find was one from back in 2018.
Also, why hasn't the dealer just decided to replace them instead of continuing to fiddle with them?
Do you know anything about why it was sold back with only 6k miles? I hope it doesn't come with some of the other standard equipment such bad vibrations, malfunctioning radio, poor a/c, etc. Have to wonder if you are just buying someone else's problem.
You know, I wondered about that as well. If it's the anti-vibration dampeners or the noise cancellation, wouldn't opening the windows have a cause/effect. You're saying it made it worse? Interesting. I'll have to play around with it this weekend myself and test it myself.
I've had the rear park assist turned off for over a month now, and hardly ever get any warnings or beeps trying to back out of my driveway anymore. So, I figured, hmmmm, maybe everything is better now. Truck seems fine backing out no problem. So, turned on the rear park assist, and first time...
Ok, I noticed that too this morning. It seemed to clear up fairly quickly. I chalked it up to just the air, but maybe you're right. Maybe the defroster isn't engaging when the remote start is initiated. We have several more cold mornings coming up, so I'll keep playing with it and see if I...
First frosty morning since getting my truck. Remote started my car with the rear defroster set to on. It's supposed to defrost the side mirrors too, correct? After 6 minutes, I came out and the rear windows and the passenger mirror were dry and clear, but the driver's side mirror was still...
You kidding? Kelly Blue Book. Just looked up a 2019 Ram Fully Loaded Crew Cab 6'4" bed with every option with 1 mile in Above Average Condition. Boom! $37,500 trade in value. MSRP would be about $66k. That's a 43% depreciation in the first year right off the lot!!. So, no matter what kind...
I know you probably can't go into the details, but when you do a replacement under the lemon law, what happens if you've installed thousands of $$ on accessories, some which can't be removed. Do they compensate you for that?
RuggedLongHorn, got a Laramie 6'4" crew cab with 2k miles and same tires, ratio and tank that you have. After first getting my truck, I took it back to the dealer I bought it from, and they balanced the tires, but not road forced, and it did absolutely nothing. Two weeks ago, I brought it to a...
First off, Chrysler's Tires suck ****. They are out of balance from the factory. All four of mine were way off and had to be road force balanced, and while it did help with some vibrations, it didn't eliminate the issues with over 50mph vibrations.
Like one of the other guys, I can't take...
Thanks for the things to think about. Truck only has 1,800 miles on it. Doubt anything is worn out, but it certainly could be something wrong with the fuel pump, fuel injector or spark plug. I also have the issue with the sluggishness during the first couple of minutes of driving after...
So, couple of questions here:
1. What you are saying is that it's a two-pronged issue. Badly balanced tires that need to be road forced balanced PLUS an issue with the anti-vibration boxes?
2. How easy is it to unplug the the anti-vibration boxes to test this? Can this be done by ourselves...
Hate to burst your bubble, but I don't have the etorque and have the same issue. Also, I've tried putting the truck in neutral and coasting and still have the issue. Can anyone tell me if having the truck in neutral still engages the ECO/MDS and/or eTorque?
Temps are starting to drop overnight into the low 50's. The past couple of mornings, when I start my truck, I've had several things happen that haven't happened since I bought it back in June.
1. Three days ago, I started the truck, and it idled just fine, but as soon as I put it in reverse to...
Curious. Anyone completely replace their wheels and tires with after market products like Nitto Grapplers and custom wheels, and still have the vibration issue? Because if anyone is still having the vibration issues with non-stock wheels and tires, then it's definitely not the tires causing...
It seems like anyone that's had issues with their tires have not had permanent resolutions to their vibration issues. Fixing any tire issues, and/or alignment issues, at best, seems to help lessen the vibration, but not resolve it.
Nearest I can tell from the recent posts, the most popular...
