I was removing my IWB appendix carry (Alien Gear Shapeshifter) and clipping it to the bottom rubber of the wireless cell charging station. While that worked well, it was a royal pain to get the holster unclipped off of. I have since switched to a 3-4 o'clock IWB carry position and, honestly...
GMC definitely upped their game! When I'm ready to buy again, it looks like the GMC's are back in the running.
I cross shopped GMC when I was looking for a new truck back in 2019. The interior looked cheap and dated compared to Ford and RAM at the time. The 5.3L was also a dog compared to the...
I did it myself as well.
1 kit covers both sides and I did not replace the pads.
Works like it's supposed to and I have several thousand miles since without a peep.
I change the Frt, rear, and T-case out with Amsoil around 30k miles (IIRC). I'm sitting at 49k and will probably change out the transmission fluid / filter before the end of the year. ..unless I get a new truck first. :sneaky:
Pretty sure every Hemi has manifold issues at one point or another.. I've had both replaced and I have zero confidence that the replacements will last.
Maybe I was sent the wrong one or possible given the wrong part number from a different thread on this forum. It's the straight one not the 90 degree one. While on the RaceRamps, there was not enough clearance to thread it into the oil pan. 🤷♂️
Maybe I'll pickup the 90 one before my next oil...
It's possible. I also have the Bilstein 5100's at #2 (2nd lowest) setting.. but you'd think the Rebel guys or anyone with a leveling puck would have the same issue, right?
I did the zip tie, didn't change anything.. good news is, the level hasn't changed in 48k miles, so I doubt I have an actual leak.
Might give the cap a try.
Must be the Red! :ROFLMAO:
Yeah, still happens, almost everytime I go over the Commodore Barry Bridge.. yet it does not happen on any other bridge I've been on.. even ones of similar design.
I just run a Bedcover (BAK MX4), a cheap ratcheting bar, and a large plastic tote to toss anything I don't use regularly, but want to keep in the truck. I also have several bungee cords on the tiedowns closest to the tailgate, so I can hook things quickly for a short trip.
My temps towing my 24'x8.5' trailer @ 7k lbs up a decent grade (east coast) last summer (95F+).
I think your temps are high. Try slowing down alittle? You might have to much frontal area for your truck?
Only thing I've done is change both diffs and the transfer case to Amisoil and make sure...
They were a 'want' but a long bed was a need, so I never had the option.
On the daily stuff, I wish I had gotten them. I cannot recall how many times I've had to flip the bed cover open, climb up there, just to grab something as stupid as the tire plug kit & pump in my storage tote. But, when...
Unfortunately, or fortunately, the speed limits around here are all 65mph+ and if you're doing any less than 70mph (right lane) in a 65mph zone you are a traffic hazard.
Mine, where the wood is gets hot, but bearable.. the leather portions are too hot to be comfortable. I usually let mine turn on with the truck, then shut it off a few minutes later.
