As far as I know and from what I am told from my Uconnect case manager, the volume in not suppose to default to the loud 15 setting. I have a appointment next week for the latest update, which they tell me will solve all issues. My radio is oem with my truck 8.4 screen no navigation , bighorn
Uconnect contacted me and requested I go to the dealer for the latest update released on 8/28/19. This is suppose to solve all the problems. We’ll see, I go in on the 16th. I’ll let ya all know
Thanks for the reply, I have the latest update as of August 16 , which was revision B. My radio is the 8.4 screen size, I have been working with the Uconnect case manager and their technician. No update they have installed has solved the phone ring volume defaulting by to level 15.

Update, Just like another member suggested, I went to Lowe’s and the 3/8 in Hillman Group Chrome plugs at $1.04 each are a perfect fit on my 2019 Bighorn
Yes, Easy install and water tight so far, I did seal the rear stake hole covers before I installed the cover. You can purchase the stake hole caps from Amazon
