I just edited my post above with what I believe the cross-reference retail part number is for the front struts. For whatever reason, the front strut numbers that are actually printed on the struts are not in any system, but my local dealership looked up the corresponding parts using VINs on...
If your build sheet and sticker, etc (along with this confirmation from Ram Chat) then you are supposed to have the lift, because as in my post above, there is only one Extra HD shock/strut for non-sir suspensions, and it's paired with springs. And these shocks/struts and springs ARE 1" higher...
If the truck has "Extra HD shocks" it has to have the 1". Those shocks and struts are longer than the stock ones, and come with springs specific to them. So you can't remove the 1" lift without removing the extra HD shocks.
The North edition was what I considered back before I finally pulled...
North Packages around here get the 1" lift. The original package announcement indicated a 1" lift.
These should be the part numbers on your truck (non-air-suspension) - check your back shock and spring:
Rear Spring - 68262686AB or 68262684AB
Rear Shock - 68262592AC
Also there will be a green...
http://www.daystarweb.com/productdetail.php?productID=22 - specifically calls out DS and DT trucks.
Also, I can tell you the RLs are identical to the naked eye. I wish I would have snapped a picture of the top hat in their 2019 kit and the top hat in their 2018 full lift at Summit Racing a...
It's pure speculation why they don't offer it. My confusion lies in that I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish so I'm just giving you anecdotal knowledge from that perspective. Perhaps the 2019 has a slight change that puts undue pressure on their multi-piece welded top-hat and they are...
If all you want is a 2" top-hat spacer, just order one from Motofab which is certified for the 2019. They have a 2", it's cheaper, on par with RL's top-hat quality, and better than RCs top-hat.
^^^^ This ^^^^
Wonder what the convo with them would be if you called up and said "Hey, why don't you offer the top-hat spacer that you offer in the 2019 3.5" Lift alone in a leveling kit"? I can't imagine they would say the same "because it spins the strut". They have to offer the top-hat in...
So RC is saying they don't make top-hats for the 2019 because the top-hats would spin the strut top, but the link you also posted is RL's kit for the 2019, which features strut top-hats that...spin the strut -and they are for the 2019. Also, many other companies have certified their 4th gen...
I keep forgetting to ask this question, but I'm wondering why I'm not seeing the use of spring compressors to keep the strut slightly compressed either when it's removed or when it's put back in. It looks like there's room to slap a set of compressors on the spring while it's compressed (by...
Correct on the strut. The body is the same, the piston rod just extends 1” more out of the body. As for the spring, that’s an assumption until I actually receive it. The assumption is based on the fact that the physical body on the strut isn’t different, so I’m assuming the lift has to be coming...
My guess is they haven't been released to retail inventory yet (have you tried your local dealer?). I found mine as a new pull from a dealership that had done a lift on an ORP truck on their lot. Watch ebay. I'm anxious to get the spring in and confirm some of my assumptions. You know what they...
In regards to one of the original themes of this thread, are we sure that if you add the Mopar lift to an ORP, you only get 2"? I combed through and couldn't find an actual instance.
I can say for a fact (well, strong opinion) that if you add it to a ORP, you will get 3" in the rear, because...
This does not apply to the Rebel. The Rebel has different part numbers, and potentially a different setup up front. The Rebel does not have the "ORP", it has it's own setup.
Here's an addendum with part numbers that I have gathered up. I have confirmed that the ORP rear shock is 1"...
I have another post floating around here, but I verified that the ORP struts are 1” longer at rest (the piston Rod, not the body), and the springs are different part numbers as well. In fact, I have verified that the REAR springs AND shocks both are longer as well (not just the spring). I...
