Just went through a 4 month wait to get my motor replaced. Lost some faith as there were no indications of any issues and nothing I can do to stop it from happening again. I have it back since Sept. 28th and have put a few miles on it. Happy to have it back, kind of like having a fight with...
Thinking back, I believe there may be a thread on sales people. I had gone to a batch of dealerships at my leisure and was not impressed at all with the sales people, finally dealt with a sales manager and got the Ram at invoice, along with 5K from Ram, true car $ and $500 coupon sent to me...
Update:
Engine light for the cyl 8 misfire came on with 102 miles and went off (reset?) at 145 miles on the new engine.

I've met the mechanic and service manager, both have...

I wish I could give you some good advice.
My motor needed to be replaced under warranty. It took 4 months and nothing was done for over 3. I do believe the dealer I had it at is overwhelmed with work. Not sure if warranty work takes a back seat as it pays the dealership and mechanic less. ...

My buddy has a 1990 something chevy truck that he uses for his lawn service and is now installing his 4th engine. I have a 1990 Toyota Celica with 193,000 miles that I keep throwing $$$ at along with a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. I do wonder how the parts market will be 20-30 years from now and the...
