Dealership did say it’s normal on dry days. I’ve been running 4WD Auto since October. Some days are louder and some days I don’t hear a thing….
Im not on 33s right now. It’s stock 31 Bridgestone HL(no idea what specs the tires are) I did checked my specification and the recommended psi all...
I had this once. Reset didn’t work. The other option I did was turn off the truck off and open the door, Wait about 2-3 minutes for system to fully shutdown and start it back on. It should work if the reset doesn’t work.
Thank you guys!
I have bought the vlinker mc+ along with the adapter. Haven’t use it yet since I just swapped out the 33s for oem. I do have another local dealership around the area, will have them to inspect the noise and brake squeak too.
I will deflate my tires tomorrow. Hopefully it can...
@2021EcoDiesel
Thank you for your advice. I will definitely ask the dealership for a record.
It is exactly what you explained. Dealer told me the same thing and nothing they can do about it. I experience this noise when I’m in low speed. Maybe 20-30km doing left/right turn. The brake squeaks...
Okay. Just updating this post.
I brought my ram in the dealership today.
I don’t know if this fortunate or unfortunate but this was what the service department told me.
The CV/Steering shaft & bearings is in perfect condition, fully greased. The issue with this ongoing squeak/hum noise is...
This happened to my buddys 2022 Ford Raptor as well with random flickers and blue screens.
I brought his truck into ford for service. They first told me they did a software update and everything is okay now. The Minute I gone out, same deal. Had to book service again. They swapped out a module...
I just installed my bed rails last week.
I have my bed professionally sprayed by line X. It’s about 1/8 thick. I bought the rivet nuts and a 16” rivet tool from Amazon. I did NOT remove any bed liner for installation.
Name of the product under comment.
I used the M6 adaptor that came with...
After doing 300km on highway and retorquing my front end links/sway bar and tires. It seems like the noise is gone. I honestly don’t know what is wrong before but it definitely could be the 4WD auto not being used often. I did disassembled the front sway bar bolts and tightened it back to 30ft...
Thanks, and yes bought it new at 155km but sat at parking lot for a year lol.
I been running on 4wd auto since I posted this. Had my krown rust proof sprayed yesterday,so it’s brakes are squeaking but I will keep ppl updated on what I find!
I think you may be right, I searched the web and wheel bearing / CV axle shaft is the two other concerns.
I just swapped out my tires to OEM and swapped out the front end links.
Noise is still active on 4WD when turning left and right and also occasionally when breaking. In fact louder. It...
You are right on that. It works the best on retractable/roll up tonneau covers.
I have a car seat in the back (losing space under the seat)so I only use it to put my straps/hitch/small fishing gears in the box.
Other reason is I don’t have cargo lights. Lol it’s nearly $300 so I just use a...
I don’t want to break the wallet lol. Also the snow/ice build up will stop the retractable from going downwards. I heard they would break easily. But just one’s opinion.
I don’t have much option here (ez liner, rustoleum, dupicolor, Herculiner and raptor)
Best bet after doing research is...
Hi guys.
It’s been raining here in Canada and soon be snowing! These OEM running boards have been such a pain for me and my daughter to get on because it’s slippery.
Has anyone bed line or used some kind of spray on their OEM running boards?
I been thinking something to DYI the whole with...
Hey guys.
I know this has been an old discussion about swing cases and what not but I recently purchased one from Vevor for some storage in my truck bed. And just wanted share with everyone that doesnt want to break their wallets.
For people that resides in Canada, as you probably know the...
Thanks for the heads up! I did the swap maybe 2 months ago lol.
I did my research and also reached out to Lasfit to confirm. Just a small upgrade if anyone is removing their third brake light already. Lasfit will replace OEM halogen bulbs and will NOT give you error code or key fob issue.
