I had a modded turbo car starting back in 2000 and have had multiple since then. I modded them and raced them frequently.
We ran catch cans extensively back in the day, but they really aren't needed with modern engines, gas, oil. They kind of went the way of blow off valves.
I might be interested. I've ran coilovers in like 5 or 6 of my previous cars. I would be interested to see something for my truck too. Will they have an dampening adjustment?
Not much to say. It adds about 3" up front and 2" in the rear (if you get the updated mopar lift). It performs great and I don't regret the purchase. I use it to get up rock shelves and do 60mph on fire roads. I don't get air with the truck, but I do flex it over some jumps and it eats them up...
Yes, very heavy. But they are designed to hold the weight of the truck on them and can even be used as a jacking point. Not your grandfathers nerf steps. ;)
The transmission actually has a hard time getting up to temp, but even to accommodate extreme conditions it would be pretty easy to vent the skid plate for the trans.
I've had cars that had under car aero that vented for the trans and rear diff to handle track temps. They weren't skid plates...
Nicely done! I have to wait until my rock sliders come in and I install them before I do the tank conversion. The sliders are specifically for the 26 gallon tank, but I bet I can get them to work with the 33 gallon tank.
Dang, I'm assuming the 33 gallon tank interferes with the rear most slider mount on the drivers side. At least it's an excuse for you to save $1,000 bucks for now and for me to save some money on the tank conversion. Keep me updated on what they say since I still want to do the tank conversion...

They didn't do a 27.4 gallon tank.

Are the only ones they did. I bet you have a 26 gallon tank that is technically 27.4 gallons.....?
Damn I was looking closely at doing the 33 gallon conversion. I guess I will be sticking with the 26 gallon mine came with now.
