    BDS 4" Install Notes

Just got the truck back from the alignment shop, they had no issues getting things into spec. It drives great, but there is no mistaking the new Load Range 'E' tires compared to the stock 'C' rated rubber... It picks up a lot more of the small road imperfections and just feels a little more...

    BDS 4" Install Notes

Cannot disagree... Hockey pucks were most certainly not designed to be used as a suspension bumpstop spacer. That said, I have been using them as such for over 2 decades in various coil spring suspension applications, and they work great. Also cannot disagree that they will eventually dry...

    BDS 4" Install Notes

Not sure yet, have only put about 5 miles on it because I need to get the front end aligned. With it being Veteran's Day today, all of the shops are closed so I probably won't get an appointment until Wednesday at the earliest. No FOX shocks, I just went with the standard BDS units. Cutting...

    BDS 4" Install Notes

Just finished my install of the BDS 4" lift, p/n 1638H. Overall it was pretty much what I had expected, having installed several similar kits on various makes/models. There were, however, a couple of subtle nuances that I thought others might be interested in... First and foremost, I'm not...

    Eco Mode Vibration

I can always tell when mine hits ECO mode as well. It's minor, but there is definitely a vibration that can be felt.

Where do you plan to tow?

What in the world are you going to see in Moses Lake, WA? I live about an hour from there and, well... just keep driving :ROFLMAO:

    AEV 4” lift?

Please don't take this as being argumentative... But... No doubt some Kings and a set of UCA's with a higher-tolerance knuckle joint would make for a nice setup, but I would not call it the "ultimate off road setup"... If those Kings add any height whatsoever, you are compromising both...

    AEV 4” lift?

 AEV 4" for Ram 1500 On the contrary, AEV has a rich history in properly engineered pieces, up to and including full blown drivetrain conversions and significant body modifications. Yes they offer a bevvy of products, but they are all absolutely top notch. I would be very curious to...

    Does Anyone Use Conventional Oil?

If I'm reading the Owner's Manual correctly, it just says regular old dinosaur SAE 5W-20 oil is what is recommended?? However, pretty much every oil choice and oil change thread I read on the forums is centered around XYZ brand synthetic... Does anybody run conventional motor oil?

I think I may trade mine in....

Similar boat here... We've got an '18 JLU Rubicon and the '19 Dodge. Love them both for very different reasons, although they have a lot of similar/familiar parts. I've driven the JLU-R from WA down to Mexico, and while it was by far the nicest road trip I've ever taken in a Jeep, a similar...

    "Ford"learned a good lesson from "Ram" 12"

I hate to tell you, but those Tesla style conversion kits have been around a lot longer than Dodge has been offering them in their pickups...

    Cloth Seat Protection

This is the first truck I've had since about 2004 that isn't leather... I did so because my kids are older now and I actually prefer the feel of a good cloth seat in pretty much all weather conditions. Anyhow, I'm now somewhat regretting my decision because I had all but forgotten how easily a...

    BDS 4" Released

Up front that is true because the Rebel / ORP have 1" longer struts, and the 4" strut spacer simply adds to whatever is there. Out back, BDS replaces the coils with a 3" lift set, which on a Rebel / ORP truck will only net 2" of lift so there stands to only be about 1" of rake compared to ~2"...

    Loud Rumbling/Revving Noise

Just happened to me yesterday on a 300 mile round trip with my daughter... Steady cruise at 70mph, it would sound as if the truck just downshifted for a couple of seconds?? No change in RPM or speed, just a couple seconds of increased Hemi exhaust note, which actually sounds awesome, but it's...

    Dualliner bedliner?

Not to completely derail the thread, but what p/n Bullrings did you install? Did you have to cut the bedcap like on the previous generation trucks?
