Got my MF version installed this morning. Same comments above, fantastic sound and very easy install. Perfect on startup and cruising. I stopped in a little tunnel by my house and did a full throttle romp out of there and it really wakes up! Sounds fine with MDS active. I'm OK if it gets a...
I used the valve from Advanced or O'Reillys referenced in that thread above. Leave it 2 turns open (it's not a quarter turn valve) and you'll keep some coolant going through the heater core. Note my post over there. First post has a pic of the hose and that's the valve I used as well. It's a 5...
Oh man we've all had our disasters over the years but take solace in the fact you'll be enjoying cool temps now and forget all about it soon enough.
I hit golf balls the other day when it was 90F and really muggy (don't ask why, lol) and the truck was baking in full sun. Less than 10 minutes...
Just received my MF kit. Nice quality construction and good hardware provided! That clamp bolt looks to be an M10 class 10.9 which torques to 53 lb-ft per my chart here. If you don't have a torque wrench you might tap it with your impact but don't hammer on it.

That video with the RAM product specialist was great. I had no idea how sophisticated the e-torque system is on this truck. RAM should move some of the powertrain engineers over to the HVAC department ;)
Beware Moparpartsgiant hit me for another $14 shipping after the order was placed ($14 original shipping) or the order wouldn't be fulfilled. Still way cheaper than anywhere else I found.

I lost about half to 3/4 of a quart because my hose was a bear to get off and I was fumbling with it and I'm still at the max mark.

Another post valve update. Did a 700 mile road trip and stayed comfy cozy in temps ranging from 70F to 88F.
The only thing that didn't work well was Auto mode in the pouring rain, 70F ambient and 99% humidity. The lower windshield and side windows fogged up something fierce. Took me a while to...
Same here! Some kind of residue on the barb. I swear I would have broke the hard pipe off before that hose let go so I just cut it.

Got the valve in. My engine out hose was unmarked for whatever reason and it would not budge no matter the amount of twisting, pulling or cursing involved. I had to cut a 1/2" slit at the end, work it off and then cut it flush. I doubt anyone will notice if I go back to stock.
It was an...
Sorry if this is posted above but those using the 84706 valve, are you totally closed off or cracked open? If so how many turns? It's hard to see how many turns would allow some flow.

Just found out online that O'Reillys stocks the same 84706 valve if you can't find it at Advance (mine was out). I'll be picking one up in the morning.

Interested in this as well. The upshifts are wicked in our Durango R/T 8spd in factory sport mode. Really loud BLAAAAP between shifts and it puts you back a little.

Just completed my app from my phone using the online form. Snapped a pic of my sales doc and uploaded no problem. I received a confirmation code immediately saying a rep will review and get back to me.

We have some good touchless "laser" washes here. The newer ones are better as they spray a rain shower spotless rinse at the same time (right ahead) of the dryer then the dryer goes by itself again. Pretty slick.
Any caked on mud, salt, etc I hit with the manual spray wand before hand. The...
