I have the same mentality on the repair, man. Obviously the cracks are unacceptable, but if a replacement leaves me with damage to the surrounding parts and the possibility of another leaking window in xxxx miles, I’d rather just seal it myself and deal with the crack. Finally noticed mine at...
Anybody put ORP springs on their standard suspension? I see a lot of guys using them with the Mopar lift and sometimes reporting a lousy ride, but haven’t come across anyone that’s simply swapped springs. I’m looking to just swap the front for the 1” to reduce the rake a bit. Basically wondering...
Since my wife went contingent at work and we had a kid, that qualified us for the money + $500 for our daughter. We have no lost wages, in fact I’m working overtime, and city I work for is considering offering a stipend based on the nature of my job. In no way does it feel appropriate to be...
Hahah not a bad idea! Hopefully we’ll start seeing used ones go up for sale soon. It’s just really hard to justify spending well over $1000 after paint when some guys are straight up trading
Bringing this thread back from the dead, as it has a lot of info regarding sport hood pricing. What's the cheapest you guys are finding these hoods these days? It appears the list price is substantially more than shown on the first page of this thread.
Your best defense against scratches/swirls will be proper washing/drying techniques. Read into the two and three-bucket methods with grit guards, then safe drying techniques. While ceramic coating will help, there really aren’t any miracle products to prevent damage after you get your paint...
Super jealous of a lot of these toys...
‘19 Yukon SLT for the wife. Dropped the rear 2”, 22” reps, de-chromed, and black Denali grill. Not my garage in the photo however!
Mine was April 2018. I’m at 21k miles without a single problem, which is irrelevant to the conversation. I do believe actual production began in mid-January, but I could be wrong
I’d say the Big Horn man. Helps that it’s tastefully done up too. My only reservation would be the price, as many of us have paid that or less for brand new trucks. But I suppose it depends if you view the mods as added value. Either way good luck and congrats on the kiddo!
I couldn’t stand the base system myself, so I swapped out the dash 3.5s for some Kickers, disconnected the ANC, and added a Kicker Hideaway 8” subwoofer. Left the doors alone. Night and day difference for minimal effort/cost. There are a few threads with a good variety of different upgrades guys...
I suppose you could buy two 1/2” spacers, stack them, and put longer bolts in. Not sure on the safety of that route though.

or swap your springs with non ORP springs, then add a 2” leveling kit. Again a ****ty option...
Sorry to hear about your disappointment man! Certainly been there, and it takes a few days for the irritation to wear off ahaha. As for the Wulf spacer...is the actual spacer 1/2” or smaller, netting 1/2” of lift? It looks to be exactly what I’m going for to reduce the rake slightly.
For those just looking to add a small sub, one would assume you could just do a line out converter using one of the rear speakers for a signal right? Followed by most likely disconnecting the ANC from the sounds of it.
Looks good man. So I know guys typically measure each fender to assess if it’s level, but has anyone placed an actual level on the bed or window trim? Especially with the 2.5” kits, I always find myself thinking it’s nose-high with the way the body lines sit.
