    What is Gear Limit anyway?

If you are going down hill, usually towing, you can lower the gears instead of braking. That helps the breaks from over heating.

Voice Recognition - anyone get to send text or search address

Interesting, the documentation says voice texting is available. Try going to this site to check to see if your phone should do voice texting https://www.mopar.com/en-us/care/bluetooth-pairing.html

As I have no direct experience, I will bow to your superior knowledge. I must have been misinformed, I apologize profusely.

Voice Recognition - anyone get to send text or search address

Sorry, only have Apple. From what I understand, you should be able to voice text with android even without using android auto. Apple has issues with the Bluetooth protocol Uconnect uses, I don’t think android has the same problem

Voice Recognition - anyone get to send text or search address

If you are using Apple products, the only way to make it work is to use Siri, android should work but I have never tried it

    What are these???

How many languages would they have to print it in? They would have to make the label bigger, use more ink, etc. that might push the cost of the truck from $59,999.98 to $60k.

    Tow brake controller

The first thing I always do after hitting the road with the trailer is to use the manual override on the brake control to see if I can feel the trailer braking. That tells me all the connections are correct

    What are these???

As the thread security guy posted above. If you take off the tailgate, it covers up the connection

Towing: Will the 1500 meet my needs or am I waiting for the 2500.

Lane assist reacts very fast, normally not a problem. With 30’ of trailer behind you, it was wagging a bit. Driver not paying attention to the lanes did not help

I have 15 feet to move the toys around to balance the load. On this trip, I did not fill up the water tank, so that saves 800# and really did not have much in the back, so that probably doesn’t help with the sway

By the way, the background is from the camp 18 restaurant on the way to the Oregon coast

The lane assist was over correcting and whipping the back end of the trailer. It was easier to turn off the lane correct then putting on the anti sway bar :sneaky:

The payload is for the trailer, not the truck. The truck can tow 12,000 pounds. If you are careful where you put things, it does not affect the tongue weight much

Don’t have exact numbers, the trailer is a toy hauler, so the specifications are a bit misleading, if I loaded with toys I could overload the truck. It pulls fine, gas mileage sucks. Did have to turn off the lane assist, it made it sway a bit 6348 dry weight, max cargo 4617
