Either way use a suction cup to remove the mirror. This has been the most successful way of not breaking a mirror. I did it and had great success. Once you get the mirror off you can see what is holding on the cap. Good luck

I got the Triple hard aluminum bar one.

Just took a 350 mile round trip. Average speed 70. Towing trailer weighing 8500 lbs. 3.92 gears. Final average was 8 MPG. All highway miles.

So i ordered the OPT7 and there are NO mounting clips. I see in the pictures that people are using clips to install this bar. Did they come with the bar or did you get them or make the ??

I drove both the 3.21 and 3.92. The 3.21 felt sluggish off the line and thru the power band. The 3.92 is a lot more responsive and more fun to drive. Just installed Pedal Commander and my smile just got bigger.

On mine i don't get any surge at all. Very smooth transition. Don't know if the E-Torque makes it smoother. The change is exhaust is barely noticeable too.
