Anyone know how to get the driver side Rambox electrical clip off? Trying to readjust the Rambox lids but can’t seem to get the drivers side clip off. I got the passenger side off pretty easy but the driver side is being a PITA.
Anyone here replace their stock speakers? I have a 19 ram rebel with the regular 6 speaker setup I believe but doesn’t sound the greatest. I would like to replace the speakers But not sure which ones to start with? Dash speakers or door speakers? Which size? And what brand are the best? Thank you.
My rebel did this over the weekend. Went camping so it sat for 2 days. Went to start it and it started very rough for about 3 seconds. Puttered/almost died until it finally got going. Can anyone else who’s having this issue tell me what your idle RPM is? Mine is barely above 500rpm and I can...
Ill have to check for the ambient lighting strip to see if I have it then. I have a 19 Ram rebel so it might not have it. light inside the top glove box is not working for sure tho. thanks for pointing out the led strip ill have to check it out now.
The light inside the top glove box toward the back top of it. where is the LED ambient light I've never noticed it? probably isn't working either then...
I didn't see any codes pop up but maybe it stored some codes in the computer only the service center can pull up? it also idles slightly above 500rpm now since its happened and I've noticed a slight rumble you can feel while idling that I've never noticed before.
Went camping this past weekend and after setting up camp, my rebel sat for 2 days since we didn't drive it at all while camping. on the day we ended up leaving, went to start it and it had trouble getting going. it puttered for a good 3 seconds before it actually started up and started acting...
Yup, sounds like what I went through. Dealer just keeps saying they can’t replicate it so there’s nothing they can do. I even showed them a video of how bad it sounds. IMHO, they do this crap on purpose. You bring it in for a bunch of issues, they can’t hear, feel, or replicate anything! Ever...
I know lowering the air pressure is best so the tire floats on top of the sand but 4hi? I won’t even be able to lock the rear diff in 4hi if it’ll disengage going 20mph. You’d think I’d be the other way around (disengage at 40mph in 4hi instead of 4lo)
So what should be used in deep loose sand? 4lo with locked rear diff? or 4hi with locked rear diff? it is my understanding that the locking rear differential disengages at 20mph which doesn't really help when trying to keep speed on loose deep sand? so would it be better to just use 4hi with no...
this is exactly what I want to do with my 2019 ram rebel, also has ramboxes. what airbags did you get? did you install yourself? I also plan on making something to store a small compressor in the rambox.
I readjusted the angle on my WDH, added another washer for a total of 6 now. I’m hoping this will be enough to level out the truck when towing fully loaded or give me a bit of rake. I’ll find out this weekend when we hit the trails again. Thanks for all the input.
I did but i honestly didnt think i would need them with my trailer only weighing about 4000lbs. I've also read about how they can be problematic and expensive to repair outside of warranty which made me stay away from them.
previous truck was an 03 silverado and it squatted about the same. was kinda disappointing when i saw the amount of squat i got with the rebel. same trailer set up and everything...i guess ill have to invest in some rear airbags to help with the squat.
tongue weight is measured from the factory at 315 pounds. after gear and water im just guessing its probably close to 350-400? but my Rebel squats to the point where i need a WDH to bring it back to level which seems odd to me.
Hey everyone, new member and owner of a 2019 Ram Rebel. Last weekend I was finally able to take out the travel trailer and was surprised at how much the truck squatted, a good 2 inches i would have to guess. Trailer is a 2018 Jayco Jay flight 174bh baja edition so it has flipped axles and sits...
