Thank you sir! Yes I have power pedals and as far as the module goes under the seat, I am looking to buy full sets of fronts like you recommended so even if it takes me a whole year, I’ll just wait it out until I find a pair (even if super used and abused) since I’ll swap my covers over.
since...
Could the seat easy entry/exit be added through Alfa? And also adding memory seats as well? I know I would have to buy the part on the drivers door with the buttons but do I need any other harnesses or is that just a simple add on through Alfa? Had it on my Laramie and don’t have it on the Rebel...
How’s it going, I have 2 questions..
1st, what is power convex and what does it do that’s different on the 2500s? My 2021 1500 has tow mirrors from factory with 360 and not sure if I have that power convex or is it only with the HD that have it.
2nd, since my tow mirrors have rear guidance...
And that issue with auto dimming not working might be something that can be easily fixed with AlfaOBD later on down the line so I’m not stressing it at all. Having the mirror work in conjunction with the CHMSL is definitely worth than having the auto dimming feature but that’s just me!
I have a ‘21 1500 Rebel as well with advanced safety and it worked for me. Granted that I had to play around with the FAKRA cable for some reason for a little while until I got the image to show up for good. You do lose for some reason the auto dimming so I’m not sure if that will be an issue...
Living in Miami, FL where it rains all the time I have definitely had rain fall lol. Doesn’t obscure the image at all since the camera lens is not flush with the light fixture and it is a little deeper so that definitely helps.
By hitting continue, since the BCM isn’t supported yet, would I still be able to change certain things on it like someone would in their ‘19-‘20? And also, would I be able to upload to google so I can show you guys my configurations? Thank you for all your help!!
So I just downloaded AlfaOBD and for now I have the Bafx (waiting for my OBDmx+ To come Sunday). I’ve never used AlfaOBD so how do I upload what you just did? And what are the first steps once I connect the bypass and the obd reader? Sorry I’m a freakin noob lol
I still haven't gotten AlfaOBD yet so I won't be able to upload the BCM. I had returned the OBD reader back when I got it thinking I wasn't going to use it but I just ordered the Bafx and see how it works when I receive it.
@Jimmy07 you think I have to reprogram the BCM in order to get the dimming feature to work? Like stated above, the soft key doesn’t change to red like if it’s activated. Mirror still works though and so do my other safety features like ACC, auto headlights, rain sensing wipers etc.. except for...
No problem! Now the next big thing I’m looking to adding is the vented front seats to my Rebel as well like you did. Trying to stick with my factory covers but I have never touched or modified seats in my life lol
I got the first image that you posted. I kept messing with the angle of the cable until I got the image to show up. Some angles it would show up for a brief second and would go away almost immediately and would have to keep messing with the cable until I finally got it to show up for good with...
Does GST also do the seats for the Laramie and Rebel? I have a 2021 Rebel and would love to find out who manufactured the leather seats on it (if it even real leather).
I never took pictures of the harness while I was installing. And my mirror dim softkey on the 12 inch screen doesn’t work either. I actually noticed it while I was accessing my surround view cameras and noticed it wasn’t on so I tried to turn it on and doesn’t activate it. The mirror does look...
