How aggressive or useful is the lanekeeping assist in the 1500?

I think of it just like it is named, “ lane assist”, not take my place. I think it works reasonably well, when the road cues support it. If the visual cues are not present or weak, don’t expect much help, but if there, I have found it to perform adequately. The thing is, I am glad to have it...

    Fog lights on during turn

No, seriously, why, as a driver or passenger you never even know it happens unless you consciously look for it and it seems to really be beneficial on a dark night on narrow roads.

    Rear breaking traction in rain

Combination of light rear end and less aggressive tire tread. I have noticed same issues with my 22" Goodyear OEM tires. (Plus I am not use to such a large engine with the accompanying torque) Just have to learn to give it a little less throttle when the roads are slick. Don't believe a Hellwig...

    Sensitive parking sensors

Likely this is not fault of parking sensors but of Forward Collision Warning/Braking System. Two different animals.

Dealer refuses to do PCM updates

How can you be out of warranty? Your factory warranty last for three years or 36000 miles, whichever comes first!

Official Ivory White Tri-Coat Pearl Thread

Have you brought this to FCA's attention yet? What specifically have they told you so far? I too have the ivory tri-coat and am very interested in their response. I purchased my Limited in August 2018, and so far have not seen this issue, but am aware that others and now you, have. If mine...

    Air conditioning performance

Please give us the name and location of this dealership so we can avoid it. Hope you have other dealerships available to you. Thanks. Also, as an after thought, why didn't you ask the General Manager to test your temperatures in your presence using his instruments and yours. Seems like that...

    Loose Exterior Trim

Yes, I realized after I posted the suggestion that it was pretty lame, sorry just trying to be helpful. I guess your clip is missing, fortunately my clip was still there but the strip was not engaging.

Power side steps stuck in down position

If you have the 12 inch screen look under controls. I believe the icon for manually deploying the steps is under there. If so, you can try actuating it to see if it might reset everything. Good luck.

FCW Caused Accident! - Forward Collision Warning Malfunction?

Just turn off the braking feature and keep the warning part. You wasting your time if you make a trip to the dealership for just this. Besides, unless FCA comes up with a software change there is nothing the dealership can do for you.

FCW Caused Accident! - Forward Collision Warning Malfunction?

Decided to deactivate FCW +braking today. Doing 60 on I69 through Houston, out of the blue hard brake down to about 30. No cars on either side and none merging on the right. Best I can figure is the sensors picked up a large white bag of probably trash on the shoulder next to a wall. I was in...
