i asked the dealer today for a status update (ordered a couple weeks ago) and they said that Ram was 'reviewing the truck for approval to build'. heck, didn't i give them approval when i signed on the dotted line? i don't even know what reviewing for approval means!
i imagine if they put each and every nut and bolt with every feature and pkg on the window sticker it would paste up every square inch of windows in the truck.
here's something i posted on a mountain bike forum i sometimes frequent.
everywhere i look these days i see more and more vehicles that are some form of overlander camping cars/trucks. i say some form because there are obvious hard core versions and even that's quite a range (and odd enough)...
i could go on a rant at length but i'll restrain myself. we like to camp. sometimes we even camp next to the vehicle. we used to call it 'car camping'. the whole overland thing has become utterly hilarious. essentially, we either have messed up priorities or we all simply have too much money...
these look great. i've got a factory order placed awaiting mine. it will be a 1500 crew cab, long box, BH with off road pkg. i think it's a subdued and classic look for a modern truck and i'll keep it stock. love the std BH 18" wheels. the local dealer (which is a very big dealership) has never...
still love the Frontier and i'm not a princess, but i gotta say, getting into a new Ram is something else. you feel like a king. nicer than my best buddy's 7 series BMW. we moved recently and i'll be spending more time on the hwy than at any time in my life. reason number 327 on the list of...
they did mention something about the chip issue, but i was led to believe it wouldn't impact my order. naturally!
funny question that i can't seem to figure out anywhere, including the dealership. (and they are very reputable), but you know, sales people don't always have all answers. i'm...
i almost can't believe i pulled the trigger. this will be by far the most expensive, largest vehicle i've ever owned! i didn't really anticipate it but in the last year or so the stars started to align and all pointed at the Ram 1500 as being the most desirable, most practical truck for my...
Good day eh. i test drove a new Ram today and i'm thinking of buying one of these crazy super trucks. quite the vehicle, wow. quiet, powerful, so nice to drive for such a big truck.
i'm coming from a Nissan Frontier short box with a quality lift kit of about 3 inches in the front. the Ram...
