Breathers are not high.... Diff breathers should be raised if water is deeper than the center of the axle. Other than that I would never go deeper than the bottom of the doors.
I was concerned with the extender bases protruding through the spacer and impacting the metal strut mount tower and making noise. Ive heard it done both ways. You dont have to cut any threads just the little nub that sticks above the threads.
What upper control arms are you using? I did my custom ready lift arms for air ride and they don't hit at full droop anymore. sensors or the air shock.

I did this. Ball joint, links and sensors all happy even in OR2. Still stiff af. I run it in normal 2” level but the system is better with the control arms no doubt.
I was going to say...... The whole goal is to trick the system into thinking it was at normal height so the sensor will enver be out of range it just may have issues over airing the bag. If you have hte daystart spacer in theory you could have 4" of lift before this would be an issue... IE OR2...
