I just installed Raptor Series running boards (see my avatar pic). Very good build quality and good price for the quality. Even in northern IL you'll want aluminum instead of steel for rust prevention...
Towing 9k for more than a few miles you should be in a HD, doesn't matter the brand. You also have less payload the higher trim you go (all brands) because they are heavier. You bought the wrong model of truck. If you want to push a 1500 you could wait for the Hurricane engine (twin turbo V6)...
Not a fan of the ET anyway, this thread will ensure I get rid of it before 80k miles. That is about 6 years and am only 2.5 years in. Would love to just convert over to non-ET.
If the hurricane doesn't have non-ET as an option, I really hope GM doesn't still have direct injection only (dual injection is OK). Otherwise I might be looking for a used 2022 non-ET hemi in a few years.
Anyone know if the Wagoneer has non-ET as an option? I think they are already using the...
I have a 2020 and don't like the et. The regen braking feeling sucks. I was going to maybe get a 2024 but not now without regular hemi as an option. If the hurricane doesn't come without et as an option I will be looking at chevy with their new v8.
I spent $323 on a pair of their house brand (Ionic) running boards about 27 months ago. They were supposed to be "marine grade" stainless steel with a lifetime warranty but started to rust after only a couple months. Even using chrome polish didn't get all the rust off. I went to make a warranty...
I emailed the manufacturer for the Peak all-in-one and they said they are unaware of any issues with this fluid for tank sensors or auto wiper sensors. It has 3 ingredients and 1 is water so hopefully it won't mess anything up. I bought 6 jugs for $2.79 (reg $5.99). Should last a few years.
I know Rain X washer fluid is known for causing the washer fluid tank sensor to go bad.
1. Is this still a problem?
2. Any known issues with Peak all-in-one (it contains a Rain-X type repellant)...
Did you price out a Big Horn, even with just level 1 equipment group? BH usually have better incentives than Tradesman, making up some of the price difference
Just did this on my dad's new 2022. Kept the top gasket that is now included on 2021+, but switched out the main gasket. Went smoother this time than when I did my 2020 almost two years ago, but still took a long time to get all the old glue off.
No major issues with my 2020 Laramie, 21k and 23 months. Just a couple very minor warranty claims that were more preference than necessary. And the RAM dealer here is very good for service. Still wish I didn't have etorque, but not worth the $$$ to switch out for at least a couple more years.
AmFam and AAA were close to Acuity for me, about $100 more total (two autos and two drivers, home, boat, umbrella). Acuity has better policy conditions, though. Some others (AF, Geico, AAA) were less on auto but almost double on home. Acuity gives a huge discount on home if you bundle with auto.
If you have Am Fam you are in WI? Try Acuity. I have had them 5 years. Just shopped around a couple months ago at my policy renewal (3 agents covering 50 companies probably, including AF) and still the cheapest, and they have great customer service and claims service. They are a little more...
