I guess 17% sales decline isn't enough. They are quickly pricing themselves out of the market. When a High Country costs less than a moderately optioned Laramie RAM has a problem.
If me, atv10 mph I would get the alignment checked (some tire places do checks free). If you are under 1 year or 12k miles alignments are covered under warranty, just say you feel it is a bit off.
So I did some digging. It appears these are sealed, so it is likely a defect in the plastic (I did notice this very early on in ownership). Seems like a kind of common problem. Some have gotten it replaced under warranty, so I will try that since I am still in B2B warranty. If they won't...
Was cleaning my truck today and there are some spots that won't come off the instrument cluster. Seems to be dirty on the back side. Can I remove it to clean? If so, how does it come off?
Question... does going with an oil weight different than on cap or in manual negate warranty?
My 2020 specs 5w20, my dad 2022 is 0w20. I know these used to spec 5w30.
Sounds like the dealer isn't trying very hard. Like you said, in their view they have your $$$ now it is your problem.
If @RamCares and/or the dealer don't get things moving by, say Thursday next week, if it were me it would be Lemon Law time. I would be calling a couple lawyers on Tues.
Chevy. They have not raised prices as much as RAM and still are offering decent incentives. But I probably will keep my truck 3 or 4 more years, so we'll see how things are then. But RAM can't continue down their current pricing path or 17% sales decline will seem like a high water mark.
As...
RAM used to be the truck that gave you more for your dollar. That isn't the case anymore, even though it was as recently as 2021 MY. Sales are down 17% but they still are keeping prices high, plus high interest rates. My next truck has a good chance of not being a RAM.
Yup, try the AC hack first. If it works then your AC itself is fine. It is a problem with having the old blend door system and you will need the TSB done for that.
Their red bottle transmission stuff works great (but really needs to be added when changing the fluid to not overfill). Never saw the need for using anything in the engine except good synthetic oil changed at appropriate intervals (usually 25% left on OLM or 7500, whichever first).
I also had a hard time with Real Truck recently. Two year old running boards with a supposed lifetime warranty were rusting and they told me to pound sand because that model (which was their Ionic house brand) wasn't made anymore. Also had the luck of the draw when calling in, twice, to speak...
I think it was around $1200 or $1400 to Green Bay. And that was with an enclosed trailer. And when diesel was $6ish per gallon nationally. MD arranged it.
I recently switched my mirror covers to body color. $75 and 20 minutes to do both sides (once figure out how but there are videos online and threads on here if you search).
Looks like I will be getting a 2026 with the Hurricane (would live a non et hemi but looks like that has gone the way if the dodo). I have learned my lesson before to not buy a first year remodel or even refresh.
Get a suction from harbor freight. $4.
Adjust mirror to be straight. Attach. Pull gently straight out. Once off there is a tire screw to get mirror cap off. Search this site, several threads on removing mirror caps.
