That may be one of the most poorly put-together videos I've ever watched. Poorly cited references, conflicting information and videos, and downright inaccurate data. Wow...just turrible!
Currently at my favorite local station (Shell brand), it's $2.33 for 89 and $2.03 for 87. That's a 15% premium. I still pay it, but I'd be happier it were more like 10% or less. I don't know much about gasoline production, but it's hard to believe it costs them 15% more to produce. Oh well.
This is an excellent point. Even though I still won't be doing any major modding, if I were, this would be the right approach. Especially for a middle-aged fellow such as myself. :)
Those look really nice. My only concern would be the fold-down design at the hinges potentially interfering with cargo. Looks like it folds down more toward the front of the bed so maybe it's not a big deal. But if you had a pretty full bed, would it be able to open without unloading or...
I haven't really run any 87 to find out the difference...only 89 since I bought it less than a month ago. But based on what I've read on this forum, I'm surprised to see you're getting 10-20% mpg improvement between the two. That's pretty significant and would be a no-brainer for any thinking...

Here is a link to current top tier fuel brands. https://www.toptiergas.com/licensed-brands/
You can obviously link around there to learn more about it if you want.
Technically, Ram doesn’t “require” 89, but they recommend it. You can read about it in the manual. 87 will work fine in most...
I think it's very similar to the G2, but the next step up. A bit heavier duty and a longer warranty, latches are bit heavier duty too, if memory serves. I didn't need anything that heavy so I went with the less expensive option.
Do a search for "Consumer Reports" on this board. There are two recent threads discussing these perceptions vs. reality. I think you'll find many of your questions answered there.
Resurrecting an old thread. As the newer iPhones are only rated to charge at 7.5w, this is what I would expect to see.
What I HAVEN'T seen is anything definitive that tells us exactly what the power output potential is of the USB-A and USB-C ports. I would really like to know how many amps I...
I know there are lots of fuel/octane threads out there, and I've read most of them. But I haven't really seen these two particular issues addressed directly, or I just missed them.
1. Do you make it a point to use only Top Tier fuels, as long as you can get it where you are at the time? If...
