Welcome. Please keep us posted on the anti freeze smell. I drove all over the NW quadrant of GA, Friday, and thought I smelled antifreeze.
(To be fair, I was delivering a used engine for someone. A quantity of antifreeze leaked out into the rear of the bed, and may have been dripping onto the...
Just got mine replaced (1st one) this past Thursday. Collected a rock chip, under my passenger side wiper. Crack ran about a foot, in three weeks.
In Ga, your comprehensive/deductible applies to glass breakage, too. The deductible wouldn't have saved me much, and I didn't want a claim, so I paid...
I have a theory.
Batteries act like big capacitors. They filter, and help to smooth, the A-C voltages produced by the alternator.
If the battery is in bad shape, it may not be smoothing the signal from the alternator, sufficiently.
As with any computer system, spikes and "noise" on the...
Just one observation. I hope the production model doesn't have the silly high beltline side windows which we have all come to know and love about the Camaro.
Yeah. I get it. "Aerodynamics, and bla, bla, bla..." Still.
I've got the Flwomaster FlowFX on my 2019 5.7. It's a bit louder than stock, but definitely not "pizz off the neighbors" loud.
Reminds me of the 383 Roadrunner that my neighbor used to have, when I was growing up.
Prices can vary from one to another. My local selling dealer wanted several hundred dollars to activate my (self-installed) trailer brake controller in the BCM.
The one across town wanted just about half that amount.
(I ended up buying AlfaOBD, and a Bluetooth dongle and Security Gateway...
Now that I did what I needed to do...
My lift has symmetrical arms. I parked the truck forward enough that I could just open the front doors past the posts.
I extended the front arms as far forward on the frame rail as I could - just behind where the frame rail angles upward towards the front...
Exactly right. And I could have made an educated guess, and probably would have been just fine. But I am one of those "can never have too much information" people.
(I was able to safely lift a Fiero, with the engine behind the seats, but I've seen that done, plenty of times. And my Ram probably...
The truck is a 2019 DT Bighorn 4x4, Crew Cab, Short Box. 5.7, no eTorque.
Does anyone know where the front-to-rear center of gravity is, so that I can evenly distribute the weight on my lift?
Of course there is nothing in the manual.
Also searched here, with no success.
Thanks!
Holy resurrection, Batman! (Yeah... I know. Sorry.)
I have an iPod Nano, 5th gen and an iPod Touch. Not sure which gen, but it's about 4 years old.
(I use iTunes, but the only time I upgrade it, or either iPod, is when they just refuse to work.)
Both of them work fine in my 2019 Bighorn. 8.4...
Not yet. The first guy tried, but says he doesn't have the right equipment. (Or maybe he wasn't holding his chin just right, or something. :D )
I talked to somebody else who said they can do it, but I'll have to call ahead and make sure the "guy" is there, and it's almost an hour from here...
Okay. Talked with a local locksmith who says that he can program Ram key fobs. He's not sure about the 2019 DT, though. Said that he's had mixed results.
I ordered a fob off of Amazon. (Lock/unlock/remote start. Don't care anything about remote tailgate release.) It will be here tomorrow.
We...
I've had the FlowFX on mine for several years. I really like it. It's subdued enough that it sounds like it could have been installed at the factory. But it's loud enough that it reminds me of the big block Road Runners I used to hear around, when I was younger.
I don't find there to be any...
Interesting. I turned the theft alarm on in AlfaOBD. I was thinking I had the hood switch field enabled, and that it "didn't care". But I could be mistaken. It's been a couple of years.
Thanks for the info.
