Because financing outside of Chrysler capital will not allow you to take advantage of all rebates.

Take the higher interest rate loan and re-fi once the DMV registration arrives. There is no penalty for early pay off.

Where? Best I can find is 2.74 for 60 months. Chrysler’s rate was 5-6% for me. I am only holding onto the Chrysler loan long enough for the DMV registration to come in the mail.

That is a pretty decent deal for the Laramie. In lieu of having the bedliner done by their lowest bidder, ask for an additional $500 off and get the bedliner done yourself.

    Window Tint

Had the windows tinted on my truck. 3M Crystalline 70% - front windshield and front side windows 3M Ceramic IR 35% - rear side windows and rear windshield. Surprisingly, the rear windows metered at 9.7% after applying 3M Ceramic IR 35%. The spec sheet shows this film to have a VLT of 45%...

Best place to purchase Mopar official Mopar warranty- dont buy from local dealer!

Purchased the extended warranty last night around 11pm. Just noticed that the extended warranty details are already showing in the My Mopar app. Highly recommend Zeigler if you are planning to buy an extended warranty. Also, the representative advised me that I can upgrade to the 7/unlimited...

Mopar Extended Warranty with 100% Refund Option

One other interesting fact: Zeigler advised me that I can upgrade to the 7/unlimited mileage plan for the price difference ($200) at any point during the 3/36k warranty. This is a great benefit if I find that my driving situation changes significantly in the next 1-2 years.

It depends on the dealer’s operating philosophy. Some dealers choose to lose money on the truck itself but make up for the difference in warranties, finance and add-on’s. Plus there are volume bonuses by month/quarter as well. Other dealers choose to make a small amount on each vehicle.

It is really just another way of discounting the truck. To be fair, 80% of the dealers in my area were discounting their trucks at the same level as your dealer. Only a minority were offering aggressive discounts on their trucks.

I would expect to see a minimum of $6k off msrp in the form of a dealer discount plus any manufacturer rebates. I bought my truck 3 weeks ago and received $6k off in dealer discount, $6500 in FCA rebates and $750 in dealer coupons (which count as additional rebate). Based on the responses in...

Trying to decide between three different configurations

Thanks again guys. Here are some pictures of the truck with all accessories installed except for the bed step, bed rails and tonneau cover. I need to find some time next week to install those items. Close up picture of the tint (3M Crystalline 70% on front windshield and front side...

ETorque is only covered by the 8/80k emissions warranty. The Maximum Care warranty specifically excludes any emissions and hybrid-related components.

Thank you for all of the advice. I ended up with Truck A - but for $33.1K + tax. Very happy with the truck so far. Currently averaging 18mpg in mixed driving over the first 1200 miles.

Thanks - I just purchased the 8/125K plan with $100 ded from Ziegler for $2575. Really wish they still offered the 10-yr term and covered eTorque, but I will take what I can get.

Mopar Extended Warranty with 100% Refund Option

I am looking for some input on an extended warranty option from Mopar. For an extra $210 (on top of the normal cost of a 8/125k extended warranty), Mopar will give you a 100% refund after the 8 year term if you do not file any claims. The downsides I can see are: 1) FCA goes out of business...

Water spotting/etching as well. My truck only sat for 10 weeks (it was delivered to the dealer in late March/early April) and both the hood and roof have a lot of water staining. I had to polish the truck extensively before installing PPF and ceramic coating.

Try Hoblit Ram in Woodland, CA. About 4-5 hr from where you are. All of their prices are listed on their website. I just purchased my Ram from there last weekend and it was the easiest purchase I have ever made. Alex and Saul helped me.
