TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

I think you might need to try a different dealer. Your dealer may have techs who dislike interior work and/or they do not have someone who is competent enough to do the job, so they are trying to avoid the matter if at all possible. Plus the job does not pay particularly well so that is even...

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

The currently open work order on my truck has the following statement for the A/C issue: "Customer states A/C has poor performance. States on warm days takes too long for A/C to blow cold. Please check and advise. (TSB 24-001-20 may pertain to concern per customer)"

    Oil Leak

2020 5.7 eTorque, 12K. First discovered this oil leak around 7K. Dealer acknowledged the issue and replaced the oil filter adapter/cooler assembly. I cleaned the area very well after the repair, but the oil leak has returned. I am not familiar with these engines. Valve cover gasket on that...

    2021 Owners - How is your A/C?

All of the 2021 1500's should have the updated HVAC Distribution Housing, harness and evaporator core. Poor A/C is somewhat common complaint on the 19-20 1500's. Can any of the 2021 owners provide some feedback on their truck's A/C performance? Vent temperature readings would be appreciated as...

89 octane recommend, does it really make a difference?

This guy did some data logging and it clearly shows timing being pulled with 87.....more so than 89.

Differential Oil Replacement - 3.21 LSD

I do not recall. However, the fluid was very clean and there was no debris on the plug.

    5.7 Hemi Fuel Grade

HEMI definitely pulls timing on 87 vs 89. I have personally noticed a small difference in responsiveness with 87 but the MPG difference is too close to confirm. The cost of 89 is reasonable if you fill at Costco. I just do my own 50/50 mix of 87 and 91 at the pump (in two separate...

Truck is not fully turning off

20 1500 DT Bighorn. When turning off the vehicle, pushing the start/stop button results in the vehicle entering the “ACC” mode instead of “OFF.” Cycling the ignition on/off several times usually resolves it. The issue is intermittent but has begun happening more frequently. Has anyone...

Did I buy the wrong truck?

Anytime the ECO light is on, MDS is active. The transmission programming between the eTorque and non-eTorque models may be different, but any transmission needs some time to learn your driving habits.

Did I buy the wrong truck?

I think your expectations are setting you up to be disappointed. You had some gripes about your F150, and now you are having concerns about eTorque. These trucks (or anything else in this segment) are not built for the level of refinement or perfection that you are probably expecting. The...

    Vibration Issue

I paid Costco $25.99 to perform a tire rotation and wheel balance. The tech said the tires were "way out of balance." I have only driven the truck at highway speeds briefly, but the vibration does seem to be improved.

Differential Oil Replacement - 3.21 LSD

This is what the Amsoil website shows for their SVG 75W-90 product: "AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR is compatible with most limited-slip differentials. For applications that require additional limited-slip friction modifier, add AMSOIL Slip Lock®." Amsoil Tech Services informed me that their oil usually...
