When did FCA start replacing the normal Limited rims you see on the website with the Longhorn rims? If you ordered prior to that, it seems to me it's on FCA to make you whole. If the dealer knew they were doing this and didn't say "hey, I know you ordered a Limited and the pictures show X rims...
I may have the same issue.
It seems like a straightforward breach of contract or negligent/intentional advertising misrepresentation. You ordered a truck with X rims and got Y, to the behest of the order and images on the website. There is no "popup" or any other notice to the consumer stating...
Did you ask what rims you're getting? I guess I don't know what rims are actually coming on my truck based on what I'm reading here.

This is some serious negligence on the part of Ram in advertising their trucks. Currently, and when I built mine, their image shows different wheels in the truck image versus the wheels in the selection.
How did you find out your limiteds are coming with Longhorn rims? I ordered a Limited recently and heard no such thing from the dealer. The POC and image on the RAM tracker shows the regular rims. Is it maybe the case they got more correct rims later in the ordering cycle?
If the vehicle cost itself was not enough you have to get work like that done plus registration fees, sales tax, insurance premium, shipping cost, inspection, etc... depending on what's applicable where you live too. It ain't cheap.

I also opted not to get it factory installed since I couldn't find a clear answer on what was covered.
It does seem pricey for a shop to do it especially if you're also getting a ceramic coating as well.

My ESD date has come and gone and still no update to the tracker. If I contact the dealer will the ESD have changed potentially? Thanks.

If your truck is just saying scheduled, is it worth bugging the dealer for an updated poc? Will they have more up to date information than the tracker?

Ahh. Gotcha. Same here with registration by value. Although I think I can write it off on federal taxes. Maybe a minor benefit for resale value and depreciation I'm hoping.

I wonder if the sticker price will reflect the newer pricing. Is that typically how it works? If so my truck with be about $4k more than when I ordered it 3 weeks ago.

Jeez. I ordered mine right before the $1k base price hike and a $2.8k engine hike. Guess I'll count myself lucky on that.

There shouldn't be an additional charge for Limited. For Big Horn and Laramie yeah, a V6 is standard. What model are you trying to order?
I heard some dealers are adding the 2.8k engine cost to Limited builds which seems sketchy.

Still seeing used prices pretty high. I don't know that inflation and rising interest rates will lower new and used prices since material prices are still high, materials are still scarce, and MY23 vehicles all seem to be going up at least 1-5k per trim level across vehicles. People still need...
Dang that's quick. I also have a limited 10th anniversary coming in and I've heard those have been prioritized. I would be surprised if mine was that quick but who knows. I've read here FCA is stopping MY22 production around August 8 but I'm not sure how true that is.

Gotcha. I just signed up for PenFed and hope that it will have been 60 days by the time my truck comes in. I don't know how long the TrueCar code will be out there especially if Ram closes MY22 orders.
It seems to me to be a gamble to pay the 100 for tread lightly on the assumption the other 2...
