+++1 on this solution. Seems to cause the least amount of headaches for everyone and gives you some flexibility for other things later if you ever want to go down that path.
I tried the Faital today vs the infinity (thanks for the quick shipment Sonnie). There is definitely a difference. I'm still trying to figure out if I like it better. Need to spend a bit more time with them. They're definitely clearer and louder.
How are the JL vs these vs infinity?
I don't.... Sorry I just never took them and don't want to pull the panels off. I had to Dremel a small amount the factory shield and screw into that as well to make it work.
Just kind of set them in that location and look where the magnet is problematic. Remove part of that plastic.
Not sure why this started happening, but my end gate latch doesn't want to open most times. I have to hit the button, bump the tailgate, etc then try again.
I put on a seal kit when I got it. Worked fine until now.
Any thoughts?
Anyone else have a continuous annoyance with how this beeps at your for driving perfectly straight down a road? It seems to be getting worse for me.
If I drive straight for 2 min it'll beep.
