The factory sub in my truck was loose. The two 13mm bolts holding the top were hand tight st best. One actually fell out which is what caused me to notice it. Tighten all 4 bolts and I’m sure a lot of the rattles will be lessened or gone.
Searching the web. Nothing similar has come up. Probably because it’s a new platform. According to a Chrysler friend this happens every time something new comes out. Having changed the bcm before my trip from Michigan to Florida with no change. I looked at schematics and was able to see that...
at this point anything can be the cause of the drop in comm. just crazy everything on the same bus talk to each other during the loss and all report bcm has dropped. Including the cluster. I’m exhausted I definitely need to sleep on this one. Hopefully I can work something out in a few days...
I would say this is good info for those who may experience this issue. As I was told it’s not isolated and isn’t determined wether it’s wiring or a recent bcm vender change.
I would say tho it has rained many times it’s not fun when your wipers stop working during a down pour for 10 minutes
All items on cluster are bussed. Some are just more important. Gas gauge runs thru bcm. Where as rpm and mph are dumped on the bus And don’t run thru the bcm
The jl it is happening to has had some work so I can’t respond to that. But doesn’t have the bypass I do and the results are similar but not the same. Good friends with a Chrysler person he says it’s not isolated. and there has been numerous bcm hardware changes since release on both vehicles...
No it wasn’t so hope it’s that simple. Fingers crossed. Have 80 miles left to drive in usual form it would happen about 2 times in that amount of time. I during my naps have been thinking of it being a possible but since it never stopped working I quickly disregarded. Possible too quick. We...
Some times it takes time and others to help diagnose an issue. Possible been so exhausted. Left Sunday night drove straight to Michigan. Swapped motor in two days and now driving to Florida. My brain is on overload and shorting out lol. Ps I’m not currently driving.
Idatalink amp bypass was installed a few weeks ago before issues. But like I said it takes time for the issues to appear. And I don’t drive the truck enough so it could be an issue. Has been now disconnected and all dtcs cleared. Witech2 both a pain And awesome activate a hotspot on my phone...
Engine bay was a virgin. Short of a power wire to the battery which has been there for months. Even during a round trip to and from Florida from Dallas
Honestly I barely cleaned the truck much since I got it. Never power washed anything in the engine. Wasn’t raining or anything when the issues started happening. Most of my drives are less than 40 miles so the problem may have been there much earlier but didnt show up because it takes time to...
Ok so like my bio says I have a 2019 ram 1500 with a 6.4 swapped into it. Currently has 4K+ miles On the way from Dallas to Michigan just recently to do the motor swap my truck started flipping out. The issues started before the motor was changed. Roughly 39 DTCs for every module that...
You can probably use the led headlights from a Laramie. The connectors should be the same. However bcm Programing would be needed and just so happens I do that.
