Op could you do me a favor please and measure the distance between your center cap and the bottom of your fender? Also, could you tell us if this was the original mopar kit or the updated one (with the second set of ring spacers)? If you don't know, you can find out by looking under your spring...
Hello, i am combing through a ton of information regarding the Mopar lift and ORG springs. I understand that the ORP springs have been giving between 1 and 1.5" of lift over the standard springs, however, i haven't found any information regarding how many spring ring spacers said guys have been...
I spoke with KJ a few days ago, he said the ride quality was really nice. However, I am seeing reports that the ORG spring has been adding 1.5" of lift with 2 rings installed, so I am curous if KJ has 1 or two spring spacers installed. His said his measurement is 24.25 and I am at 23.5 with a...
Yeah it does look like it is the 4th rung, however there is a weird shape to the spring cup that goes over the ring, i'm not 100% sure as i haven't seen the billys in person but let me find the user manual i saw the other day to show you what i'm talking about
The spacer may be an inch, but it's not a 1:1 ratio due to the mcpherson style struts; typically a 1-1.25" spacer will give a 2" lift. The 3/8" lift spacer from CST gives a .6" lift. Regardless, anything over 3-3.5 needs a diff drop so I definitely wouldn't be throwing the ORG springs in there...
Sounds like that's what it means. Are you visually seeing 3 rings, or feeling for them? Sometimes they can be hidden by the spring cup since it is shaped like a bell.
Doubt you need ORP springs., you'd be at like 5" in the front with horrible CV angles. With the 5100's set at 2" and a 2" spacer, you'll be at a 4" front lift which is already a little much without a diff drop.
Should be higher than that according to the installation manual...hop under the truck and count the number of rungs. Should be four exposed. Did you take before and after measurements? If not, just measure the distance between your center cap and bottom of the fender.
I wasn't impressed with the Readylift setup. I had the 2" level halfway installed before i pulled it all out and got the mopar. The way the control arm contacted the spring at full droop bothered me, and they said it was "totally normal", which i disagree with.
The thing about a preload style lift is droop travel doesn't really suffer, stroke travel does. UCA's are needed when droop travel needs to be longer, so it would definitely not need long UCA's like say a 3" top spacer. However, since the Mopar lift UCA does indeed have a little further ball...
The 10 -24 might be the cause of rubbing, the OP doesn't appear to be that wide/negative offset. I just installed a set of 35's on my truck too but have 20x9. No rubbing.
Could anyone with the bilstein 5100's OFF their truck do me a huge favor and take a picture with a tape measure, meausuring two things...
Total shock length
and the total length of the lift settings from the bottom setting, to the top and the distance in between each setting? I am trying to...
I'm not sure. Before i bought my mopar lift, i had the ready lift 2" kit going in. (I have a lift at my house so i did the install myself). I actually removed the readylift halfway through the install because the spring was physically making contact with the knuckle due to the angle that the RL...
