*************Sorry I must have been confused............
This what I had read about it:
e-Torque opinions and can it be disabled?

Yes, it was possible to turn off the eTorque system in Ram 1500 trucks. However, the eTorque feature is no longer available in Ram trucks...
Thought I would start a thread if any will let us know who have a new RHO Ram and is Happy with it. Thinking about trading in my 2023 Laramie and order a RHO. The truck has some awesome looks and features!
To the guys with your new RHO's is the running boards deployable to step on to gain entry in your truck or not? It seems when looking at the Ram website the option is not clear on the running board option other than the price option lol, which is the same price as the power running board on the...
I pulled a grand design 28 Foot with my 2019 Ram with e-tourqe Crew Cab . 5.7 with 3.92 gear all stock set up trailer and truck had no issues whatsoever. Longest pulls was from Ohio to Gatlinburg had no issues on I-75 and I64 with trucks passing me or me passing them. Always ran with one Camper...
I would have to agree with your statement on both counts. I had 6 Rams in the last 25 years, all bought new. The last 5 have been 5.7 Hemi's. One was a buyback, but not due to motor issues at all. Not had any issues with drivetrain on any of them. The 5.7 I know has the "Tick" with many owners...
I have owned two Ram with eTorque one where you could disable it with a switch and one where you could not. Ran both of them enabled at all times. Never had the first issue with either truck. Also, owned two rams bough also new without eTorque and liked the eTorque better especially towing...
Just my opinion ,when Ram raised the prices drastically in 2017 they were doing so well moving up in the Mkt over GM was going so very strong until the larger prices of 2021 hurting them with no real updated since 2014. Then made a huge mistake by going with the 6 banger only, and option of the...
I bought a new Ram in 2023 and traded in 2019 Ram ....I never got what I paid or near what I paid for the 2019....never seen any dealers around Ohio/Kentucky allowing near what anyone paid for a new 19 Ram on trade for a 23. So, not sure where you found your deal to get your money back, on a 5...
PUMPING OUT 500 hp I would say they are still interested in a hot rod TRUCK but not so sure the customer wants a 6 banger for a wanna be hot rod TRUCK that built to the hilt with no where more to build!! That goes for the FORD and the RAM if your talking the 6 Banger Ram. Plenty romp left for...
I too had a 2019 Ram bought new put 72k on it and never had first issue with etorque. trade it in on new 2023 Ram 5.7 for lower miles on new one last year for 5.7 hemi. have 25600 on 2023 with etorque and no issues at all on anything same as the 19.
hahaha...here is one that's not a hoax.....They (The Feds) approved a big raise on my Social Security Checks for 2023. Feds have made the largest inflationary hikes in my 67 years on this planet yet! That raise when it hit in the middle of the pond the wave never hit the shore what so ever...
Thanks for the input! Makes good sense for sure. I went ahead and ran the 5/20 just like I have in the last three new 5.7 I had new. I just never felt comfortable with the 0/20 being too thin on start up and not used for most all the life of the 5.7's. I agree with you. I think I will stay with...
I really don't think the 23 year would have any thoughts to MPG Improvements since they knew the 5.7 was going away. I don't think 0/20 over 5/20 would provide any better or significant MPG increase as well. The Lower compression on 2023 over the 2019 I had helps with fuel cost since it no...
Thanks for your thoughts. It must be the for that reason for cold starts better lubrication. I also noticed from 2019 to the 2023 the Compression Ratio changed slightly as well not recommending Plus fuel for the 2023 any more like it did for 2019 as well.
Okay....well I never had a 2022 just the 2023 and had a 2019 before that so it changed for the 2023 I have now from the 2019...thanks for correcting me it was very helpful.
