I don't see it as bankruptcy trims....the trims once over the Big horn...is not all that earth shaking difference..... But The big horn down is quite a bit of difference, but once you go as far as the cost of a big horn it's not all that much more to go up some.... Just depends on what one likes...
Actually, the Hurricane 3.0 I have is not any better with MPG than the 2023 Ram 1500 hemi I traded in for it. I have yet to hit 20 MPG with the 2025. Both had 392 gears as well.
Anyone know a way around the adaptive cruise control in the 2025 Tungsten? So darn annoying to have adaptive on and cannot turn it off! Had both types of cruise on my 23 Ram Laramie and always had adaptive turned off and used the standard cruise control with it.
The Rivian is not an ICE motor and does not belong in the ICE category....I bet my hellcat will blow all doors of that fast Electric SUV.... But it's not the same.
Great point made. I personally say running high grade fuel in it will help quite a bit for carbon build up, and running carbon cleaning additive every so often with oil changes would also help to slow carbon buildup down quite a bit.
The ideal combinations would be for Ram to offer the 5.7, I-6 in two choices with another choice of a Ram Sport with 6.4 Scat Pack motor turbocharged. It would be a combination of the very best driving truck out there in my opinion. The Ram every time I have bought the last 5 or 6 Rams is always...
But does hand free actually let you sit back and drive hands free or tell you after a few minutes to get hands on the wheel and if you don't, it goes to default driving no hands free?
Has anyone used the Thorton Racing power chip that plugs into the OD port? They claim a 60hp boost and 3 to 5 MPG boost with no effects of altering the PCM.
Why would any one care about MPG with a truck unless it was way off, which it's not. It's about dead even with the 5.7 with 3.92 rear end. My last Rams were 392 and they don't go into 8th gear either until about 55 mph rather than 60.
Thanks for your info. You can close the power tail gate manually, just as if it don't have a power tail gate, if one wants too. I have forgotten already from being used to my old tailgate and close it a number of times manually. LOL..
