Okay....... I got this thing dialed in and must admit......its some kind of Voodoo black magic! It, my speaker upgrade and the addition of the sub has COMPLETELY changed the "entertainment experience" in a base 6 speaker truck..... It will blister your eardrums!!
I installed mine yesterday. I'm in the process of tuning it and cleaning up the install. So far I think I'm going to be impressed. To be only a 200w amp it REALLY increases the power and sets the stage correctly. It fits under the front seat with no problems and installs pretty easy.
If you wouldn't mind snapping a few pics while installing and let me know your thoughts about how it sounds I would be beyond thankful! I've finally pulled the trigger and got mine also. If I get it installed before you I'll do the same.
You could always put down a piece of plywood then 4x4 cribbing then place the load on that. It would be pretty much the same thing that's done under crane arms when lifting a load. Doing this will spread the load over the 4x4's.
Hey guys, gotta question. Has anyone installed a Kicker Key 200.4 DSP/amp in their truck and if so, what do you think? I've changed all of my speakers to Infinity Reference and added an Infinity Basslink powered sub. I can not for the life of me get it staged correctly or get it to sound...
It's funny you pointed this out. There is a building in London nicknamed the walkie-talkie. It has multiple compound curves on the exterior design that would concentrate sunlight into a beam and increase the surface temperature on the sidewalk. It got so hot that it melted a Jaguar parked next...
I spoke with a dealer a few years ago and he was telling me back then, that in a few years there will be a glut of 20 through 22s hitting the market. This is because unfinished vehicles that sat in manufacturer storage lots until parts became available are finally being released for sale. The...
@Grape_Ape , I understand you are a union guy and no one is going to, or trying to change your opion of your union. You are looking at the situation through your optics as we all do. But that doesn't change the fact that the UAW, by what's being reported, have dug in and are expanding this...
The union is demanding a 4 day, 32 hour work week with overtime pay for anything over 32 hours and a 46% pay increase. A company is not going to take a loss. The increase in pay, benefits and paying for a shortend work week will be passed directly to the consumer. The consumer is ultimately...
I'm sorry but the UAW is just being flat *** out greedy and outrageously over the top with their demands!!! I'd pull a Ronaldus Magnus and fire every last damn one of the auto workers! When they come back asking for their job's, I would hire them back for what was offered and start them over on...
