So on my way to work this morning and as usual I put it in -8 on the gear select and drive like normal. I was coming down a hill and I down shifted to 7 manually. At the stop light I couldnt shift up to 8 but I could go back down to 1. Shifted to park and then drive again and same thing, only...
It's funny you say that, my buddies a die hard Chevy guy...sat in a new 19 and said its literally the exact same as his 16. Hes looking at ram for a new truck when he decides to get a new one
So just wanted to share my first long road trip mpgs with you guys. Filled up about halfway through pa and didnt fill up again til about the end of va. Hand calculated I got exactly 20 mpg. I wasnt going slow, hit some standstill traffic and some torrential rains. I accelerated pretty darn quick...
They're not very "off" anymore, it's not 2004. TFL guys regularly get within a few tenths and I do as well. Mine is actually lower on the readout most of the time vs hand calculated.
I wish there was an option to set a temp for them to come on. Seems pretty dumb that 42 turns it on and 43 is too warm...I looked all over for a solution but seems it's either 42 or bust
Not sure exactly but scroll through the list of options and you'll see a setting where you can have the eco light appear or not. I did this my first week and then I couldnt stop staring to see if the light was on...so it's off and I just drive now lol. I'm sure if you search on here there is...
No theme on my big horn 8.4 either, didnt know it was there until stumbling upon this thread. Will make a note next time I'm at the dealer to have it documented
