I think the sweet spot for my truck as far as highway speeds are concerned is about 72-75. I was easily averaging 18-21 (depending on slight hills vs flat) and it was just chugging along. I always thought my 05 cummins 6 speed was "good" on fuel cause it got around 20-21 highway, but the ride...
I'd really like some mostly black tail lights and I have googled a ton of phrases and nothing pops up. Anyone hear or know anything that might be in the works? Was going to try that VHT stuff but idk if I wanna "ruin" my brand new lights.
I bought a 50 dollar k&n drop in filter, says adds 10 hp. I'm good with that lol. Only way I'm spending a grand is to buy a programmer for my Cummins and add 130hp and 200+ ft lbs of torque lol. It sure does look killer though!
Everything went well, brakes fixed and they updated/reflashed for the air bag recall. Couldnt replicate the issue I had of the shifting in manual, but it seems to have fixed itself since that one issue.
Going to the dealer tomorrow for the squealing brakes so I will definitely mention this. After work though it worked fine, but I'm still going to tell them to check it out. Thanks guys
