It's not uncommon for a dealer to fail to isolate the cause of a problem and claim it's normal.
However, it's not normal for any Ram I have owned.
Just took the video below from about the same location under the truck.
I think it's a software issue. Mine did that one day when the truck was new. The only way I could get it off of defrost mode was to turn off the truck and restart it. I reset my Uconnect system by holding the power/volume button down for about 10 seconds. I don't know if that's what fixed it...
There is nothing you can do to increase your MPG enough to matter other than get rid of the truck and buy something that is more fuel efficient.
Even if you are magically able to increase your MPG from 16 - 20 MPG, you would only be saving about $14 per week if you drive an average of 15000...
That's exactly how they market extended warranties to dupe people into buying them. They use rare examples of expensive repairs.
You are also confusing the rare example with the norm and failing to see the long-term. It's not about luck, it's about odds over the long-term. There are some...
Incorrect. I don't remember owning a new vehicle that I didn't put enough miles on for it to have run out of an extended warranty. I think you are assuming I'm the only one driving a new car in the household.
Your Forbes source based on every person in the US. Very few people buying new 5...
For most people it will not be worth the money. Extended warranties cover the period of time when cars are the most reliable. The primary coverage benefit starts after the manufactures warranty has expired and by then most of the bugs have been worked out. They end before most cars start to...
Not quite. According to a MarketWatch poll, only 36% of American's say they might be unable to afford an auto repair bill over $500.
I would guess that % is a lot smaller for people who are buying $50,000+ trucks.
Doesn't really matter since it's not an accurate calculation anyway. Each fill up I reset the meter on the truck and use Fuelly to manually calculate the milage. The truck never reads the correct MPG not even one time. The truck always reads between .5 and 1.5 mpg better than what I actually...
With all the money I have saved by not buying an extended warranty on the two dozen or so new vehicles I've purchased I can afford the occasional out of warranty repair. Extended warranties are only valuable for people living paycheck to paycheck who can't afford an unexpected repair cost.
I'm pretty sure it's reactive in that it is reacting to your turn angle compared to speed and is apply the brakes to prevent the *** end from passing the front end.
You can disable both traction control and ESC by holding the traction control button down for 5-6 seconds. However, its like...
That's because since 2020 the price of building materials to repair a damaged house have increase by more than 37%. In the last year or so, lumber prices have started to decline slightly, but the cost of other building materials is still increasing.
LOL. It's was YOUR irrelevant comparison; not mine. I was simply pointing out the irrelevance of you trying to compare a small truck with a full size truck when the OP was talking about a comparison between two full size trucks of the same size.
