What is Electronic Shift-On-Demand Transfer Case? I dont see it as an option when building a 2020 Ram Rebel Crew Cab 4x4 online, but some window stickers show this $195 option. Confused what this is exactly. Thanks
yea i told them there are more rebates which theyll honor, but $0 dealer discount. They said these are “sticker” cars lol
I read in the Rebel sub forum people getting 20% off msrp on their Rebel
the annoying part is that if you want something as simple as memory seats, you need to get the comfort&convenience package.. and from what i see, this is a rare find.. SERIOUSLY!?
This may help folks in California looking to purchase. If you purchased from a CA dealer, please share the following:
Year
Cab (quad/crew)
Engine
Options
MSRP
Manufacturer Incentives/rebates
Dealership discounts
Final price
Purchase date
Dealer name
Contact
if you had a trade involved, it’s...
Ty I will check them out
Might be the current supply limitations due to covid, or just a CA thing, but Im seeing average 5-10% off msrp (with rebates/incentives) for Rebels (for Crew Cabs that are fully loaded... more off on Quad Cabs and stripper models)
thank you!
biggest issue is how I want it optioned
5.7 hemi, no etorque
Rebel 2
Rebel 12
Safety & convenience group
Comfort & convenience group
Black appearance
Blind spot
33 gallon tank (not a must, but preferred)
Dont care for $1500 pano, dont care for air suspension
the hardest to find is...
All Rebels com standard with a 3.92 rear end....so towing with the 5.7 V8 Hemi is 11,280 pounds, while with the 5.7 etorque it's LESS, at 11,220 pounds (and only 9,750 pounds with the 3.0l diesel, lol)
for other models (Laramie, Limited, Longhorn, etc) the standard 3.21 rear end tows about...
the dealer was also willing to take 20% off big horn and other lower end models with fewer options, cloth seats, etc. Heck they even had leftover 2019s sitting there.
Decent discounts on Laramie's and Limiteds, pretty much nothing but rebates for Rebels.
Ive been having a hell of a time truck shopping the last couple months. You would thing with the current economic climate the prices would be fair, but seems like every dealer is giving the excuse that they are low on inventory and are having to buy cars/trucks from other dealers just to have...
I test drove both 5.7 varriants back to back and didnt feel any difference. The truck I like has the e-torque, I dont mind the extra $200, but I'm just worried that it's something extra that can break, need servicing, or maybe even hinder resale down the line.. thoughts?

Test drove a 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel Crew Cab yesterday, fully loaded with Safety and Convenience Group, Comfort...
