Former loyal Ford owner here. I have had F150's and F250's mustang, fusions, Edge, Contour SVT and more. But Ram won me over with value for what you get and I have had no issues with my 2019 Bighorn and Just ordered a 2021 Bighorn. Ford is just not IMO comparable when you compare equal trims...
Why would anyone buy used when the prices are this ridiculous on used trucks, at least in my area.
2014 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Laramie Pickup 4D 6 1/3 ft pickup Silver - -... (craigslist.org)
Totally agree. I have had it on an F250 and a JKU. Very quality parts but if I ever go that route again I will look very hard at Zone and save a few bucks with the same quality parts.
Yeah I saw that the RC kit is on back order. My truck is on order as well and as bad as the delays are I am not sure when I will get it but I went ahead and placed the RC order just to be in the que when they come back in stock. I think when this 2nd round of Covid money comes people are going...
Yeah read the fine print for sure. They will cover any BDS products that fail but anything else that isn't BDS that gets destroyed in the process you are on the hook for.
The supreme suspension looks like a better build quality. I will look into them for the rear lift if I cant find a 2" spring. Thanks for sharing? So which ones are you planning on using?
I would agree something has to be done to the original kit because 1" rear lift spacer just isn't going to be enough. I haven't looked yet but I am going to see if there are 2" rear springs out there by any manufacturer. Or just go with the Icon springs Kwilliams444 has.
That does look really good! If the front is higher than the back you cant tell from that picture.
I know its really weird that the site does not mention anything about the rear spacers lift height. However if you scroll down to the questions area someone asks "How high are the rear lift spacers...
So the website says the rear spacers are 1". You used 1.5" rear coil springs so you have an extra 1/2" over the provided spacers. So if your front end is higher by 1/2" compared to the rear then the spacers in the kit would make it nose high by about 1"? God I hope not because I hate the Cali...
In my experience with lifts, unless you are lifting it to the sky the Mopar 2" lift isnt going to effect the mileage that much. Its the larger heavier tires that really drag down the MPG's. Just what I have experienced anyways
Just curious why the 3.92 is important to you? I currently have the 3.21 and re-ordered those again with this truck and have never had an issue with them. I have towed a few trailers and boats up to around 9000lbs and never had any concerns or poor performance. Unless you are wanting to tow...
I swear after reading all of the delay issues and setbacks you guys are experiencing I swear to God with all of you as my witnesses I will not check on the status of my build! I will know its ready when I get the call from the dealer!!!😣
Wow looks great man! Actually looks higher than 4" but it will probably settle a bit. So is it perfectly level or is there still some rake? What kind of hit did your MPG's take?
Thanks for the response! I have been down the road of Bilstein, Icon, Fox, Carli, BDS and a few more and all of them ride practically the same. I had a JKU with a 3" Carli setup that I thought was nice a few years back. Then I rode in a freinds JKU with a rough country setup and realized there...
