[emoji23]. Lucky you didn't blow an ear drum shutting the doors!
Use a heat gun and that dynamat will peel off. You might get away with directly covering them with some non dense foam, but definitely not butyl. But if that foam gets moisture on it, it's a recipe for mold.

Been running beltronics pro 300 and a escort 9500ix for years. They are solid and saved my *** countless times. I tend to speed more than I don't.
I'm sure there is some newer models that are better, but on the highway I'll catch them like a mile out. That's enough for me.

I have the sequential version under the Xmas tree, so I'll be tackling these in January. Not sold on the turn signal function yet, but thinking of a way to have it run once, then switch to white when I unlock the doors.

Spent the last hour putting a thread together for my audio mods. Hopefully it's useful to someone.

I've posted most of this in the "what did you do to your Ram today" thread, but those posts get buried fast and I get a fair amount of questions about all this so it's nice to have a thread to reference.
I've replaced every speaker in my '19 Bighorn (Factory Alpine system). All factory speakers...
I'd say so. I'd do it again for sure.
There's not a lot of flat panels back there, they are all pretty ridgid. So the full coverage with the butyl was probably overkill. I do plan to get a mild exhaust, so I am leaning forward to mitigate drone, which is caused by vibration. The butyl should...
Bottom right corner... My old part number ended in AC, the new one ends in AE. Also the plastic frame seems more substantial (thicker).

Clean with iso alcohol, stick it on, press it with a roller. For the 1st layer, the butyl, if it's cold out you'll need a heat gun to really mold it.
There's a ton of youtube videos on the process. Here's a pic of the back wall with nothing. Non-etorque
With e torque + the basic process...
Looks good man, so did I. I just like to have the stock for a back up so I left it in.

Yep.
I did notice that you lose a little base with the CDT.. Or at least you have to turn up the bass more on the eq. I think they are just power hungry. I bet they are sick with a aftermarket amp, like 100 RMS per channel.

I knew you'd like em. I smile every time I crank it up! I'm even considering upgrading the wife's Durango R/T with them.

I think your rails might be a tad too high. On mine, all the rubber seal on the side rails is sandwiched between the rail and the bed. I have them dead even on the underside with the bed side caps. Also, if your rails aren't level, lower the side brackets. Jump to the next notch down on them if...
You'll find a ton of info searching the forum for specific mods, but I'll try and get you started..
Credit to all those on the forum that helped chase these down.
