Well, after the clunking saga and even more concerning rear main seal oil leak fiasco that required the whole drivetrain to be removed and reinstalled at 1,800 miles, I went after FCA with an attorney and have finally been awarded a (nice) settlement.
As part of the settlement I got to keep...
I tried a different dealership on my last service visit. The desk turd at the service dept. wanted to argue with me about doing a TSB without "actually" having the problem. If I ask for it, just do it. Don't quiz me about symptoms of what it's doing.
Just to echo what everyone else has said, I had the TSB done on my amplifier and the volume is now what you’d expect to get out of a system like this. Now if they would just add a multi-band EQ like the HK system in my 5-Series, I could ring the thing out and get it dialed in...
Yeah I tried everything to get mine to go in. Only went in after storing them in UConnect and they seemed to work right after that. I was wondering if any info was logged as I got a "side steps not available" message on the dash just before it happened. Taking it in tomorrow to address a couple...
I've been hugely disappointed with my '19. I've put more miles on it going back and forth to the shop than I have driving it for other purposes. I know every brand has their lemons, I just feel as if the DT was rushed to market to beat everyone else and some of us are paying the price. I...
That seemed to do the trick. Hopefully was just some kind of fluke but they seem to be back in sync now. Thanks for the suggestion. Turning the truck off and back on didn't work.
Anybody experienced the auto running boards getting stuck open or closed? We're experiencing some pretty heavy rains here today, but that's the only thing I could think that may be affecting it. My driver's side running board is currently stuck deployed. Never had an issue before now but when I...
Major invasive surgery. Rear main seal leak. Basically, the whole drive train had to be disassembled to perform the repair. My truck was out of service for weeks. Has not leaked again since I got it back but what a disappointment this thing has been. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hopefully...
Start documenting everything. Make sure you keep service tickets and make sure the dealer is explicit in the details of your service visits on those tickets. Check your state’s Lemon Law requirements. I am currently seeking lemon law resolution on my truck if you want to chat about it, PM me.
Could you have inadvertently pressed the “gear limit” button on your steering wheel? That’ll do it. Probably would clear itself by cycling from P back into D.
I can say with a fair confidence that mine has finally been resolved. Let me know if you want to schedule a service appointment with your dealer and I can provide part numbers
Don't do that. You'll lose your @ss. I am currently filing a lemon law claim on mine as well. It has been out of service for 27 days due to numerous repair attempts. Don't waste your time with the arbitration process. Your state law will outline what qualifies you for a claim. Unfortunately, it...
@19RamLimited so you can see how close the end of the bolt is to the floor. But they changed out 2x screw- hex flange head lock, 2x isolator- body hold down and 2x absorbers. That’s the verbiage right off the service ticket.
