Budget wise, provincial / Parks Canada camping was $20-$25 a night CAD (or about 25% off once you exchange USD to CAD) BNBs were $115 a night, we loaded up food at Walmart in New Brunswick which meant only one meal out per day. Diesel was the highest expense but in total, it was...
3350 Miles in 6 days. In 2018, I did a 5,000 mile trip on my motorcycle around Quebec, Labrador, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Maine over 12 days. It was a sprint and I only had 2 days n Newfoundland. I've been wanting to go back ever since so we decided to spend 5 days on the big...
5,000 mile interval oil & filter change on the EcoDiesel. I usually wait a bit longer but we’re heading away for a month so needed to reset the oil change reminder
Also, 10K miles since I had these tires installed so gave them a rotate this morning
In another RAM highlight, I saw THREE Limited EcoDiesels this weekend on my drive up to Tennessee. I've never seen another limited ecodiesel in person but I saw one at a truck stop and the owner gave me a wave and I passed on another on I-40 heading west and then the ivory white RAM caught back...
I don’t get all nostalgic and lament about these cars going away But man, I just have no idea how we’re going to get to full EV penetration in 6 years. 6 years is not much time. That means every new model in the next 2 years has to come out as an EV To get there. Which is why all of these cars...
With how important filtration is on these diesels, I’d hate not knowing if I had an official oil filter or not. I have the 8 year warranty and I’m so nervous about them finding any reason to decline me “You see sir, you’re not using a Mopar oil filter” claim denied. Even if I bought it from a...
Congrats! I went from a Volkswagen Golf R to the crew + 6’4” bed 1500 Diesel. it’s about 8 times slower but priorities change. As a first time truck owner myself (grew up with them on the farm as a kid), leave your road rage at home, you have a big truck but it’s really easy to screw up and get...
All I'm saying is I know this beast at almost 21 feet long won't fit in the parking spots in DC, NYC or Boston. I've tried. Even still, my wife totally doubted I'd be able to fit here and I was.
....on the first try, too! (crew cab + 6.5' bed)
Yes, I did get out no problem. Backed right up to the Volvo's bumper without touching and then out with a full lock turn from the Yukon in front of me. Now...this was a North Carolina parallel park, not an NYC one so I will admit these spots...
Had my truck in over the weekend for a window washer fix (hose came loose) and they did one of the recalls (software update to back up camera) but said (so this was 3/4) that the fix for the fuel pump was not available yet.
Well, just thought I'd bump this thread to add my 2 cents about the same issue. Mine stopped spraying last week. Dealer looked it over and my hose was also disconnected. No charge since I'm under the 8 year warranty. I guess I'll just keep having them fix it every time it stops working.
I’m only giving my experience. Every oil filter that came in a mopar box for my diesel (4 so far) has been stamped with the M. The one time I ordered off amazon and it came in a plastic bag, it was a knock off and didn’t have the M.
Also one of the very last EcoDiesels. I got about 20% off MSRP on my 2021 Limied EcoD also fully loaded in early 2021 and 0% interest. that was a much different time. I think for right now, you did well and you’re going to love filling it up and driving hundreds of miles without the needle moving.
